Carrick beat Portadown in bottom two clash

Portadown's Premiership survival is hanging by a thread after their 3-2 defeat by Carrick Rangers.

Carrick scored through an own goal by Matt Hazley, a long-range strike by Martin Murray and a curling effort from wide out on the left by TJ Murray.

Marcio Soares scored both for the Ports who look doomed to relegation.

Carrick boss Aaron Callghan and Portadown skipper Niall Henderson spoke after the game.
