BBC Sport - John Toshack: 'Swansea couldn’t train until the tide went out’

‘We couldn’t train until the tide went out’

Former Swansea City manager John Toshack recalls the lengths the club had to take to find locations to train during his time in charge.

Toshack, who guided Swansea to English football's top-flight in 1981, has officially opened the club's new training ground extension at Fairwood.

The facility includes a new refectory, gym, changing rooms, altitude chamber and hydro pool along with eight full-size pitches.
