Newly-promoted Maidenhead United have signed Stevenage striker Jake Hyde on an undisclosed-length deal from 1 July.

The 26-year-old had joined Maidenhead on a short-term loan deal in February, helping them go on to win promotion to the National League for the first time.

He signed for Stevenage in 2016 after spells at York and Dunfermline, as well as two spells at Dundee and Barnet.

Hyde, who began his career as a Swindon Town trainee, has also played for Hayes & Yeading, plus Weymouth as a teenager.
