51 Vox Populi. Local rivalry is normal, it happens in most cities in the UK and elsewhere. What is unforgivable however is how you could support a foreign, European country, Republic of Ireland, before a British team. Unbelievable.
50. It'll be like two bald men fighting over a comb.Neither of them will be at the World Cup.
@47 No party for you tonight then. Why don't you go to the supermarket instead? Iceland maybe?Cymru am byth a twll tin y saes
@49. I was supporting Wales at Euro 2016 (apart from the England game). Then after England were knocked out by Iceland, I saw the footage of Wales players celebrating it like they'd won Euro 2016. I couldn't understand it. Now I no longer back that group of players and I couldn't care less about their chances.I hope N.Ireland (in particular), Scotland and Rep.Ireland do well.
What a game to look forward to on Monday.
Unlike #47, I'm pleased to see all of the home nations doing well. Hopefully ROI can do a job tonight, then both of them end up qualifying. Fingers crossed for Northern Ireland - best second place qualifier.
Can see Serbia dropping point to Austria later. If both teams (my Wales) & the Republic come through tonight, should be a great atmosphere in Cardiff Monday.Still a hard match tonight.Wales given away too many leads in Matches. The Republic been very defensive in matches.
Hope Bales lose, as an Englishman I will be partying late into the night
Coleman may/has a job lined up anyway IMO. If Bale is out Wales are lost and even then he is overhyped/over rated, I saw him play lest back at Forest & he was woeful.
Come on Belgium and Greece! If Bosnia slip up in any way against Belgium and Greece win, then all Greece have to do is beat Gibraltar at home any score line to finish second in their group but last in the second place table as their goals against Gibraltar won’t count! This way Wales or ROI and Scotland have the chance to progress assuming they finish second - simples!!
40 - rubbish. Bale has not been at his best for a few games but Ramsey has been outstanding. Also, we have the two most promising teenagers in the UK.
21. Posted by Bugle of CymruWe haven't lost a qualifier since 2009 :)
Hello, an Englishman here. Good luck to both teams, it would be great if both of you qualify. Good luck to Scotland too, hope you make it as well. It may seem strange for this message to come from this side of the border, but I like to see all British teams do well, except, of course when they play us!
Apologies if this is the wrong forum, but I'm a little confused about the play off qualifying process:Teams who accumulate points against the bottom team in the group don't count towards play off points, however, does this mean the team who are bottom of the group at the time of playing them, or the team who are in the lowest fifa ranked position at the time of playing them?
