Incident that cost Hamilton shot at pole
- From the section Formula 1
Jake Humphrey, David Coulthard and Eddie Jordan discuss the bizarre end to Lewis Hamilton's qualifying session in Suzuka, where an incident at the final chicane left him unable to set his final lap time.
Hamilton had been the fastest man in Q2, but was passed by both Mark Webber and Michael Schumacher at the final chicane before starting his second run in Q3 and failed to cross the line in time to set another lap.
Sebastian Vettel then stole pole position from Hamilton, with his McLaren team-mate Jenson Button also starting ahead of him in Sunday's Grand Prix.
