Raikkonen relishing F1 return

Kimi Raikkonen says he hopes to be "fast straight away" following the Finn's first test for his new Lotus team at Valencia's Circuit Ricardo Tormo.

The 2007 world champion is returning to the sport after two years competing in the World Rally Championship and reveals his brief appearance in the NASCAR championship inspired him to return, saying he wants to "enjoy racing against people again".

Raikkonen was testing a 2010-spec Renault and admits "learning about the team and the car and the tyres" will take time, but says he still wants "good results" as soon as the season begins in Melbourne, Australia on 18 March.
