Schumacher and Senna's crash

Mercedes' Michael Schumacher and Williams driver Bruno Senna collide during the Spanish Grand Prix, forcing both drivers to retire and blame each other for causing the incident.

Schumacher exclaimed that Senna was an "idiot" on his team radio after the incident at Turn One, with the seven-time world champion running into the back of Senna as the Brazilian struggled for grip on worn tyres, and was later handed a five-place grid penalty for the next race in Monaco by stewards.

Senna's Williams team-mate Pastor Maldonado went on to claim a dramatic maiden victory, the team's first since 2004, but celebrations were soured by a fire in their garage after the race had concluded.
