McLaren woes no real shock - Button

Jenson Button says McLaren's lack of speed is "no real shock" after qualifying down in 17th for the Australian Grand Prix.

McLaren produced their worst performance for six years as their big-budget new engine partnership with Honda got off to a terrible start, with Kevin Magnussen 0.6secs behind Button in 18th and last.

Despite their poor qualifying, Button believes the car is a "very good base" for the future.
