Derry manager Tom McLean has named an unchanged line-up for Saturday's Christy Ring Cup semi-final against Down at Owenbeg (15:30 BST).

The Oak Leafers progressed directly to the semi-finals thanks to wins over Mayo and London.

Down lost their opening game against Kerry but progressed to the last four by beating Wicklow and London.

The recent form of the two sides suggests that Saturday's semi-final will be a close encounter.

Derry only had a point to spare over London in their last game whereas Down defeated the Exiles last weekend.

Gareth Johnson was among Down's stars last weekend as he demonstrated his return to top form.

Paddy Henry's free-taking will be crucial for Derry with Ruairi Convery also providing a major scoring threat.

Holders Kildare face Kerry in Saturday's second semi-final at Newbridge (14:00).

Derry: D McDermott; M Warnock, C Quinn, S McCullagh; A Rafferty, C McSorley, K Hinphey; S McGuigan, B Quigley; P McCloskey, P Cleary, P Henry; A Kelly, R Convery, A Grant.
