Monaghan full-back Drew Wylie is set to miss Sunday's Ulster Football semi-final against Fermanagh and could be ruled out of the rest of the season by a suspected cruciate ligament injury.

Former All-Star nominee Wylie sustained the injury while playing for Ballybay in a recent club match.

The Ballybay man is rated as one of the best full-backs in the modern game.

Colin Walshe, who came on as a substitute in the win over Cavan, is likely to replace Wylie on Sunday.

2013 All-Star Walshe has recovered from the cruciate injury that he sustained in last year's All-Ireland quarter-final defeat by Dublin.
