Steven McDonnell has resigned as Armagh Under-21 football manager after two years in charge.

The 2002 All-Ireland winner took over his club side Killeavy during the year and wants to focus on club duties in 2016.

McDonnell explained he "wouldn't do justice" to club or county by trying to combine both roles next year.

Armagh lost an Ulster Under-21 semi-final to eventual All-Ireland champions Tyrone in March.
