Down's former All-Ireland winning manager Pete McGrath says the late Joe Lennon was at the heart of Down's gaelic football revolution in the 1960s.
Lennon, who played in Down's Sam Maguire Cup winning sides in 1960s and '61 and captained the county's All-Ireland triumph in 1968, died on Wednesday evening.
"Joe was a radical thinker in many ways. He put an awful lot of thought into the science of gaelic football," said current Fermanagh manager McGrath.
