BBC Sport - Darren Clarke says Irish Open test should suit his game

Clarke relishing 'tough' Irish Open test

2011 Open champion Darren Clarke says he will not be bothered if conditions are breezy and a little wet at this week's Irish Open at Royal County Down.

Clarke made his Irish Open debut as an amateur in 1990 but the 14-time European Tour winner has yet to triumph in the event.

"Most of the times in the Irish Open, I've been first out on Saturday morning which means I haven't been in contention," said the 2016 European Ryder Cup captain.
