Kjeldsen holds nerve to win Irish Open

Overnight leader Soren Kjeldsen clinches victory at the Irish Open after beating England's Eddie Pepperell and Austria's Bernd Wiesberger at the first play-off hole.

"I was surprised to see I was still in it," said Kjeldsen, who shot a closing round of 76 in yet more difficult conditions at Royal County Down.

"But I hit a fantastic three-wood [second shot] in the first play-off hole. That's one I will remember."
