England's Charley Hull bogeyed her final three holes to slip four shots off the lead after the second round of the Women's PGA Championship.

Hull, 19, also dropped a shot as a one-over round of 74 left her four under at the halfway stage at the Westchester Country Club in New York.

South Korea's Kim Sei-young, 22, carded a five-under-par 68 to lead the season's second major by a shot.

World number one Lydia Ko, 18, missed her first cut as a professional.

The New Zealander ended a run of 53 successive cuts after she fired a three-over 76 to miss out on the final two days by a single stroke.

Kim recorded three birdies and an eagle as she looks to add to her two wins in his first season on the LPGA Tour.

Her two-round total of eight under left her just ahead of compatriot and defending champion Inbee Park, 26, and seven-time major winner Karrie Webb, 40, of Australia.

Kettering's Hull is tied for eighth place following an opening round of 68.

The Women's PGA Championship is the second of the LPGA Tour's five majors.
