BBC Sport - Open 2015: Andy Sullivan excited at playing St Andrews again

Sullivan excited ahead of Open debut

Nuneaton golfer Andy Sullivan will make his Open Championship debut at St Andrews later this month on a course he knows well from his amateur days.

"I've played St Andrews a lot as an amateur and also in the Dunhill Cup so I'm going there with confidence," he told BBC Midlands Today's Ian Winter. "My first objective is to make the cut but, after that, I'm hoping to look at getting in that top 10. Having a chance of winning on Sunday would be unbelievable, a dream."

The world number 58 booked his place on the famous Old Course when he won the Joburg Open in March, his second European Tour win in two months.

Since then, he has also played in his first major - last month's US Open at Chambers Bay.
