Graeme McDowell fired a one-over-par 71 to end joint 31st in the Scottish Open at Gullane on Sunday.

The Portrush player warmed up for next week's Open at St Andrews with a round which included three bogeys and two birdies to leave him five under.

Shane Lowry finished on the same score after also carding a 71 while Padraig Harrington (72) was two under and Michael Hoey (77) two over.

American Rickie Fowler won by one shot on 12 under.
