Watch the moment Phil Mickelson missed out on creating history on day one of The Open at Royal Troon when a cruel missed birdie at the 18th denied him the first ever 62 in a golf major.

The 2013 Open Champion carded a course-record 63 to lead this year's tournament by three strokes but said afterwards "he felt like crying".
