Ahead of Saturday's big race at Aintree, BBC Sport takes a look back at a real Grand National treasure, Ginger McCain.
McCain died in September 2011 but he will always be synonymous with the National after his three triumphs in the big race with Red Rum and his record-equalling fourth win in 2004 with Amberleigh House.
The McCain name was further entwined in the annals of Aintree's history when Ginger's son Donald McCain trained Ballabriggs to victory in 2011.
