Chester: Memphis Tennessee and Astrology win for Aidan O'Brien
Memphis Tennessee and Astrology completed a Chester double for Aidan O'Brien and jockey son Joseph.
An 11-length victory for Astrology (11-10) in the Dee Stakes preceded Memphis Tennessee's Ormonde Stakes win.
Memphis Tennessee (evens) held off a stiff challenge from Vivacious Vivienne (10-1), ridden by Jamie Spencer, with Calico Cat (66-1) third.
Michael Owen's Brown Panther, which went off 6-5, tailed off to finish fourth of four in the Ormonde.
Trainer Aidan O'Brien said of the winner: "We're delighted with him. He was a lovely horse last year, but he's grown up a lot.
"He's a lovely mover and I have no doubt he'll be better on better ground.
"He's matured from three to four and he has all the options as he's not a Group One winner.
"It won't be a problem to drop back in trip with him and we might consider races like the the Coronation Cup or the Hardwicke Stakes at Royal Ascot. He's open to everything."
Astrology made all the running over the extended mile-and-a-quarter trip to breeze clear of his three rivals in the Group Three Dee Stakes.
Oxford Charley (7-1) was second, Kingsdesire (10-3) third and Uriah Heep fourth.
The wins continued a recent good run in Britain for the County Tipperary-based O'Briens, who also landed Saturday's 2000 Guineas at Newmarket with rising star colt Camelot.
