Retiring jockey AP McCoy says he rates champion hurdler Jezki as his best chance of victory at his final Cheltenham Festival next month.

McCoy, 40, picked My Tent Or Yours, who was beaten by a neck by winner Jezki, in the 2014 Champion Hurdle.

But the 19-time champion jockey hopes he can guide the horse to a second win.

"The horse I'm most looking forward to riding at the Festival is Jezki. I think he has got the best chance of winning," said the Northern Irishman.

Barry Geraghty steered Jessica Harrington's stable star to last year's triumph as McCoy elected to ride fellow JP McManus-owned runner My Tent Or Yours.

Unbeaten Faugheen, trained by Willie Mullins, is the hot favourite this time around.

"I know Faugheen is the one that they are all talking about, but there's no form like Champion Hurdle form," said McCoy, who has won the race three times - on Make A Stand (1997), Brave Inca (2006) and Binocular (2010).

McCoy announced earlier this month that he would retire by the end of the season, which concludes in Britain at Sandown on 25 April.

He has yet to name a final day of riding but considers it "very, very, very unlikely" he will quit at Cheltenham even if he were to land one of the major prizes.

The Northern Irishman has been linked with the ride on favourite Shutthefrontdoor in the Grand National at Aintree on 11 April.
