Ryan Moore: Time Test heads jockey's Newmarket double
Odds-on favourite Time Test won the Joel Stakes at Newmarket as jockey Ryan Moore clocked up a double.
The 10-11 chance, trained by Roger Charlton, returned to form following his fourth place in the Juddmonte International at York in August.
It was Moore's first winner since returning from more than two months out with a neck injury.
Later, he scored a second success on 9-4 shot Cannock Chase for trainer Sir Michael Stoute.
Time Test was introduced by bookmakers at odds of between 6-1 and 10-1 for the Breeders' Cup Mile at Keeneland on 31 October.
"I think he'll end up being a better horse than [four-time Group One winner] Al Kazeem. He's been immature and the future is ahead of us," said Charlton.
