Jonas Hoog signs new Swindon Wildcats contract

Swindon Wildcats

Swindon Wildcats forward Jonas Hoog has signed a new one-year contract with the English Premier League club.

The 24-year-old Swedish winger joined the club part way through last season and scored 57 points in 31 games.

Head coach Ryan Aldridge said: "Hoog was a massive part of our team last year. It took me three attempts to get him here and he was worth the wait.

"Jonas is exciting to watch and is dangerous for other teams every time he has the puck."

Hoog, who was born in Stockholm, has played much of his career is Sweden but spent a year in France in 2009/10.

"He was a key guy for us to bring back and I am so happy we have got it all wrapped up," added Aldridge.

The arrival of Hoog comes on the back of the signings of Nick Compton and Shane Moore earlier this week.
