Hul Stingrays stretch losing streak to six matches

Stingrays coach Cloutier has seen his side win only one game this season.

Hull Stingrays extended their losing streak to six with weekend losses to Nottingham Panthers and Coventry Blaze.

The Rays went down 3-2 to the Panthers and the 4-2 defeat to Coventry made it four defeats from four in the Challenge Cup.

Coach Sylvain Cloutier told BBC Radio Humberside: "We've had a tough start but it's frustrating because we haven't been playing bad hockey.

"We just need to get some bounces and start finding ways to win games."

A difficult start to the season has seen the Hull side win only one of their opening 13 games and it's a run of form which assistant coach Bobby McEwan is keen to address.

"We are competing with the top teams in the league but we just have to start finding ways to win.

"Winning is a habit but so is losing and it is a bad habit to have."
