The Sheffield Steelers clinched another win over the Belfast Giants by scoring three goals without reply in the third period of Saturday's Elite League game.

The Giants were leading 2-1 at the end of the second period after goals by Craig Peacock and Darryl Lloyd.

Jonathan Phillips netted Sheffield's goal in the second period with Guillaume Desbiens, Tyler Mosienko and Jason Hweiit scoring in the third.

Sheffield have won seven out of eight against the Giants this season.

Belfast travel to Cardiff Devils on Sunday for the first leg of the Challenge Cup semi-final.

Second-placed Sheffield have a league fixture away to the Coventry Blaze.
