Western Storm win by 5 wickets

So, Heather Knight's side get their campaign up and running after Thursday's defeat.

Stafanie Taylor was without doubt the star performer, taking four wickets, running out Ellyse Perry and scoring 34 crucial runs in the run chase.

Watch the moment Sophie Luff took Western over the winning line...

Taylor c Scholfield b Elwiss 34 (Western 106-5)

What a catch!

Stafanie Taylor tries to win it with a slog over mid-wicket, but a sprawling Paige Scholfield takes a great catch.

Wilson c Higham b Grundy 4 (Western 77-4)

It's getting tight at Taunton.

Wilson was struggling to get started and tries to slog sweep but top edges it straight up into Lucy Higham's hands.

Western need 31 off 24 balls.

Hennessy c Perry b Elwiss 23 (Western 62-3)

Big breakthrough for the visitors.

Georgia Hennessy was set, but she just clips Georgia Elwiss straight to Ellyse Perry at mid-wicket.

Knight run out (Higham) 24 (Western 41-2)

Brilliant stop at backward point by Lucy Higham, but very suspect running from Heather Knight and Georgia Hennessy.

"Poetry in motion"

Heather Knight and Georgia Hennessy have rebuilt for Western Storm since they lost Rachel Priest in the first over.

Watch Heather Knight hit Georgia Elwiss for six below...

Priest b Beams 0 (Western 0-1)

Maybe this isn't going to be a foregone conclusion after all.

Rachel Priest tries to cut one that's far too straight and Kristen Beams bowls her.

Just a reminder, Western were bowled out for 70 in their opening KSL game on Thursday.

End of innings

Western Storm need 109 to win

So, Western Storm need 109 to win.

I'm sure Heather Knight will be delighted with her sides effort in the field.

Stafanie Taylor without doubt the standout performer, running out Ellyse Perry and then taking 4-5 from her four overs.

Langstone c Huddleston b Nicholas 8 (Loughborough 108-9)

Off the last ball of the innings, Beth Langston picks out long-on as Loughborough finish on 108.

Higham run out (Nicholas) 6 (Loughborough 98-8)

Direct hit from Claire Nicholas and Lucy Higham goes for six.

Great throw!

Kelly b Huddlestone 18 (Loughborough 95-7)

Marie Kelly moves outside off stump, trying to hit to leg.

She misses. Holly Huddlestone doesn't.

Scholfield c Priest b Taylor 15 (Loughborough 73-6)

Fourth for Taylor!

You just can't keep her out of the game at the moment. Although she owes Rachel Priest a huge deal of gratitude for this one.

Paige Scholfield gets a thick outside edge on a wide one and Priest reacts brilliantly to eventually hold on after a few fumbles.

Taylor has figures of 4-2 off her three overs so far. Ridiculous.

Brookes lbw b Taylor (Loughborough 59-5)

Three in the over!

What a ten minutes Stafanie Taylor has had! The run out of Ellyse Perry started it all and then three wickets in her first over has put Western massively on top.

Odedra st Priest b Taylor 0 (Loughborough 59-4)

Second in the over for Taylor!

Sonia Odedra dances down the pitch, trying to play into the legside, but it spins past the outside edge and Rachel Priest does the rest behind the stumps.

Elwiss lbw b Taylor 1 (Loughborough 59-3)

Stafanie Taylor can't do much wrong at the moment!

Second ball of her spell and she's trapped Loughborough captain Georgia Elwiss lbw.

"That's textbook stuff!"

In the over before Ellyse Perry fell, she hit this beautiful six back down the ground off Jodie Dibble.

Perry run out (Taylor) 25 (Loughborough 54-2)

Sensational bit of fielding by Stafanie Taylor!

Direct hit by the West Indian and Australian Ellyse Perry is back in the pavilion!

Jones c Nicholas b Davies 21 (Loughborough 30-1)

Breakthrough for the hosts!

Amy Jones was looking really good. She'd hit three boundaries off the previous Holly Huddlestone over, but she's just chipped a simple catch up to Claire Nicholas at mid-on.
