Almost time for me to go. Please join us again on Thursday evening for live coverage of Inter Milan v Celtic.

Dundee United manager Jackie McNamara

"I was happy with the spirit and response from an early set back. With 10 m en, we were the better team. The least we deserved tonight was a point, not least the three."

Inverness manager John Hughes

"I felt the sending off for Dundee United spoiled the game. We got the penalty, played some nice stuff in the first half but once again we stopped playing in the second half. Disappointed to lose the goal in the manner we did, scrappy goal."

It ended all square between Dundee United and Inverness Caledonian Thistle at Tannadice and the gap between the sides remain at seven points with Caley Thistle third and United fourth in the Scottish Premiership.

Sean Dickson also netted a double, in East Fife's 2-1 win over East Stirlingshire.

A bad-tempered match ends all square at Tannadice with Ryan McGowan's second-half for the hosts cancelling out Greg Tansey's penalty opener for Inverness. Both sides ended with 10 men and referee Calum Murray issued several bookings throughout the match.

YELLOW CARD

Dundee United forward Ryan Dow is cautioned for a cynical challenge on Ryan Christie.

Henri Anier comes on for Dundee United, with Calum Butcher making way.

But Inverness remain a threat themselves with Danny Williams and then Marley Watkins unable to convert decent chances in quick succession.

Dundee United sense they can win this now and are pressing hard as the game approaches its final 10 minutes.

Dundee United have sent on Robbie Muirhead for Aidan Connolly.

GOAL

Dundee United 1-1 Inverness CT (McGowan)

Ryan McGowan takes a fresh air shot but then follows that with powerful strike into the top corner. It all came from a corner.

Twenty minutes to go at Tannadice. Dundee United have been the more forceful side in the second half, despite their numerical advantage, but they still trail to the Highlanders.

Steven, Aberdeen: "From an Aberdeen perspective a draw would be a good result to keep CT at bay. A draw or a united win, can't see that happening now though. COYR for the weekend."

YELLOW CARD

The yellow cards keep mounting up. This time it's Inverness midfielder Ryan Christie who goes into referee Calum Murray's book for a foul on Ryan Dow.

Inverness goalkeeper Ryan Esson does well to block an effort from Ryan Dow, who managed to get in a shot from a tight angle.

Last five minutes of the first half. Inverness have had the chances to all but win this game but United are still only a goal behind, albeit with a man down.

Richard Wilson

BBC Scotland at Tannadice

"United are still carrying a sense of grievance, having conceded a penalty and been reduced to 10 men after just five minutes at Tannadice.

"Inverness, meanwhile, just keep racking up chances. It's ill-tempered, and Marley Watkins has been too lively for the United defenders to cope with."

CLOSE!

Ross Draper is found right in front of goal by Ryan Christie's corner but cannot keep his header down. A let-off for Dundee United.

Dundee United defender Paul Dixon and Inverness forward Marley Watkins clash and go head-to-head after the ball goes out but the pair are separated and Inverness have a corner.
