Inter Milan 1-0 Celtic (agg 4-3)

It ends in an aggregate win for Inter Milan and Celtic's Europa League campaign draws to a close. In difficult circumstances, the visitors acquitted themselves with 10 men at the San Siro and only succumbed to defeat late in the tie.


Craig Gordon makes another impressive block to deny Xherdan Shaqiri from close range.

Midway through three minutes of stoppage time.

Kris Commons works the space to get in a shot from the right-hand edge of the Inter box but the Inter defence block.

Not long left now, almost in stoppage time.

Inter break from their own half with Fredy Guarin collecting the ball in a central position, driving forward and sending a superb shot past Craig Gordon. Excellent strike.


And Adam Matthews follows Bitton into the book and that means a European suspension for the Celtic right-back.

Midway through the second half. The pressure is mounting on the Celtic goal. The final 20 minutes or so will demand a lot of the 10 men.
