Right, time to wrap this up. you can read the report here where there will be more reaction from both managers in what was an action-packed game.
- McCormack and Dembele give Fulham victory
- Jordan Rhodes pulls one back with a penalty
- Fulham's Jamie O'Hara clears off the line from Grant Hanley
- Replays show ball was over the line
"It was an uncomfortable second half," Symons told Sky Sport. "Andy Lonergan made some important saves and they put us under huge pressure. They are a big side, it was tough, we had to be resilient. We gave away a very soft penalty which gave them a lift, the non-goal was a tough call but I am not going to apologise for getting a bit of luck."
"We were outstanding in the second half," Bowyer tells Sky Sports. "We hit the woodwork twice and you want the officials to do their job properly and they haven't (with the goal). He doesn't book him at all (for the penalty), it's a goal scoring opportunity. They are the things not going for us. You can see the ball (over the line)."
Victory for Fulham lifts them up to 11th in the Championship. Blackburn's woes continue and they remain in the bottom three. The pressure continues to mount on boss Gary Bowyer.
What a breathless second-half. Here is story of the game in stats:
"They have good players so it was important to get over the line," Fulham striker Ross McCormack tells Sky Sports. "I was never over the line," he jokes. "It looked close in fairness."
Fulham hold on for all five minutes. Desperately harsh on Blackburn Rovers who will feel massively aggrieved when they see replays of what should have been an equaliser.
It comes to nothing though and Andy Lonergan has the ball in his grasp.
Blackburn have one final chance to pump it forward...
We're playing a minimum of five minutes here at Craven Cottage.
It's all going off at the Cottage. Moussa Dembele uses his strength and barges through on goal but his curled shot which looks to be creeping in at the far post is kept out by Jason Steele.
It should be 2-2. The ball finds Bangaly-Fode Koita in the Fulham box and he thumps it against the post from close range. How did that not go in?
Craig Conway comes off for Tom Lawrence as Blackburn throw their final roll of the dice.
James Husband is replaced by Dan Burn with only a couple of minutes remaining here.
Huge controversy at Craven Cottage as replays show that Jamie O'Hara's clearance from Grant Hanley's effort came with the ball over the line.
Five minutes to go at the Cottage. Can Fulham hold on, can Blackburn equalise? This game is wonderfully poised.
Off the line from Jamie O'Hara as Blackburn come desperately close to an equaliser.
Hope Akpan comes on for Corry Evans.
Ross McCormack has a free-kick 20 yards out but Jason Steele is behind his curling effort.
A long-throw causes havoc in the Fulham box and Andy Lonergan's weak fist away falls to the feet of the on-rushing Craig Conway who blazes over. At the other end Moussa Dembele fires straight at Jason Steele with a tame effort.
Shane Duffy also receives a booking as a result of the scuffles that followed the challenge. It's getting feisty and Rovers have 15 minutes or so to find an equaliser.
Jamie O'Hara is late on Ben Marshall and after a bit of argy bargy from both sets of players the Fulham midfielder receives a yellow card. Nasty challenge.
Fulham's Tom Cairney is fed the ball but his goal-bound shot from 12 yards is blocked by Shane Duffy on the line. Great defending.
It's rightly being pointed out James Husband should have received some punishment for his foul on Jordan Rhodes. He was the last man and shoved the striker to the floor. Possibly a case for a red card.
Bangaly-Fode Koita is booked for a clumsy barge on Richard Stearman.
Jordan Rhodes converts from the penalty spot, sending Andy Lonergan the wrong way, for his first of the season. Blackburn are finally back in this game.
Jordan Rhodes takes a tumble in the box after a little push in the back by James Husband and Blackburn have a penalty.
Worrying moment for Andy Lonergan as his attempted clearance cannons off the back of Jordan Rhodes but luckily it sails high and wide of the goal.
Ryan Fredericks, who started the season as a Bristol City player after joining them from Tottenham during the summer, comes on to make his Fulham debut in place of Ben Pringle.
Fulham again have Andy Lonergan to thank for keeping them 2-0 up as he palms away a curling Craig Conway effort at full stretch.
Pressure continues to mount on the Fulham defence and Ben Marshall's shot is deflected behind for a corner. It comes to nothing though.
Great football from Blackburn and another cross causes confusion in the Fulham box. Jordan Rhodes' downward header from inside the six-yard box is kept out by Andy Lonergan.
Bangaly-Fode Koita finds space on the right and his pin-point cross finds the unmarked Jordan Rhodes who can only head over the bar from 10 yards. One of these has surely got to go in soon.
Corry Evans has just been on the receiving end of a heavy challenge from Richard Stearman but no foul is given. It's not really been that type of game but that's a bad challenge.
At the other end Moussa Dembele tries his luck from range but he's wide with the effort from 25 yards.
Again so close for Blackburn, Ben Marshall plays a low ball across the six-yard box and from close range and at full stretch Jordan Rhodes can only divert the ball onto the post.
And we're back under way at Craven Cottage.
Blackburn's Bangaly-Fode Koita comes on in place of Nathan Delfouneso at the break.
What's awaiting us in the second half then folks? Can Blackburn mount a comeback or are we looking at Fulham holding on for three points?
