There are boos, there are hands on heads in the stadium.

As a colleague says, "Arsenal just cannot help themselves". It seems any hope of a first title since 2004 is now gone. Surely it's over?

The match report is live and will be built over the coming minute. Click here to access it.

Alan Curtis is beaming on the Emirates turf and Ashley Williams applauds the travelling faithful before hugging his coach.

That's that from me, thank you for joining me.

Arsenal 1-2 Swansea

Petr Cech comes up for an Arsenal corner but it is defended and Bafetimbi Gomis shoots from his own half, it won't threaten the empty net.

Arsenal 1-2 Swansea

A cross into the box drifts past everyone and Swansea have a goal kick. Their fans are in fine voice in the corner of this huge stadium.

All the Swansea shirts are behind the ball bar Bafetimbi Gomis who tries to run the ball clear but back come Arsenal...

PENALTY APPEAL

Aaron Ramsey bursts into the box and goes down under the challenge of Ashley Williams, nothing doing. We have five added minutes.

Arsenal 1-2 Swansea

Lukasz Fabianski has the ball in his hands after fielding a tame header. We have two minutes of normal time to go and Swansea look relatively comfortable.

A substitution to waste time now, Angel Rangel for Andre Ayew.

Arsenal 1-2 Swansea

Deep cross into the Swansea box, brilliant header to concede a corner by Kyle Naughton.

In comes a Nacho Monreal cross, hacked away at the back post.

Karly Boy: Wenger is clueless, his substitutions are laughable, bring in Mourinho, anything is better than this feeble capitulation.

Vince: I wonder what lines Wenger will come out with to insult our intelligence this time? 8 million a year...for this?

Away days to decide it?

Arsenal 1-2 Swansea

A win tonight and Arsenal are right in the mix, make no mistake. But a look at their away fixtures does prompt concern. To say there are trick trips is an understatement.

The Gunners venture away from the comfort of Emirates Stadium to face Tottenham, Everton, West Ham, Sunderland and Manchester City.

It looks a tall order. Surely, surely, their title dreams are over now?

Arsenal 1-2 Swansea

There seems to be little belief in this Arsenal side now. They are spluttering towards defeat and Andre Ayew is game for a fight as he draws a foul from Danny Welbeck. What a result this would be for the Welsh side, they'd be six points clear of the drop zone.

Arsenal 1-2 Swansea

So what have Arsenal got? Aaron Ramsey is in the area and finds Olivier Giroud, on to Nacho Monreal who is 14 yards out but lifts the ball over.

Hope for Arsenal

Only Bournemouth have given away as many points from winning positions as the Swans.

Arsenal 1-2 Swansea

That was Ashley Williams' first goal since March of 2014.

Arsenal 1-2 Swansea

Paul Ince

Former MK Dons manager on BBC Radio 5 live

“Not only was Cech at fault but there was no-one marking Williams. You cannot make those mistakes at any level, never mind when you are chasing a title.”

SUBSTITUTION

Arsenal 1-2 Swansea

Theo Walcott in for Alexis Sanchez. Arsenal could be about to lose three straight games for the first time since 2010.

GOAL

Arsenal 1-2 Swansea - Ashley Williams

Gylfi Sigurdsson stands over a free-kick for Swansea in a wide area, in it comes... GOAL. Ashley Williams knows little about it but turns home from a couple of yards.

Petr Cech seemed to miss his punch in the six-yard box and the ball just hit Williams who races away punching the air.

Aaron Ramsey in the Arsenal midfield, wide for Hector Bellering who crosses into the arms of the visiting goalkeeper. Easy. He will take them all night long.

Arsenal 1-1 Swansea

This is only Jay Fulton's third league outing in a Swansea shirt. A big ask.

SUBSTITUTION

Leroy Fer makes way for Jay Fulton in the Swansea midfield.

HITS THE WOODWORK

Alexis Sanchez

The stage is set for Alexis Sanchez as he lines up a free-kick in a central position. Here he comes, small deflection... WHACK. Off the bar. That's the second time Arsenal have hit the woodwork.

"Fans are booing the decision to take off Joel Campbell. He has been the bright spark and they don’t want him to go off."

CLOSE!

Arsenal 1-1 Swansea

Gylfi Sigurdsson must score, he rounds Petr Cech... no. Wide.

Great build-up play and Sigurdsson burst into the box, executing perfect approach play but blasting wide with the goal exposed. It seemed to take a little bobble and the angle was closing but my oh my, what an opening. Swansea on top.

Arsenal 1-1 Swansea

Swansea are starting to get a foothold in this game and the boos which arrive as Joel Campbell is taken off will only help their cause.

Danny Welbeck is in. Campbell had been pretty useful.

.

Arsenal 1-1 Swansea

We have anger. In the stands and on the face of Arsene Wenger. He thinks Leroy Fer is time wasting in receiving treatment. Some huge boos ring out.

Danny Welbeck is ready to be introduced.

Arsenal 1-1 Swansea

The yell Bafetimbi Gomis just let out could be heard in space. After great work Stephen Kingsley pulled the ball back behind the striker and frustration took hold.

Arsenal 1-1 Swansea

Mesut Ozil

Ashley Williams knows Mesut Ozil is a danger man and floors him 35 yards out. Williams was so tight Ozil could barely breathe.

In comes the delivery, in-swinger, only needs a touch.... oh that's close. Alexis Sanchez cannot get a flick on the ball with a certain goal waiting.

Arsenal 1-1 Swansea

Mesut Ozil collects a pass from the left flank and takes it in his stride into the area. Not for the first time Ashley Williams is in the right place at the right time, corner.

In it comes, drops for Alexis Sanchez in the box and he has space to drill RIGHT FOOTED... deflected narrowly wide. A good chance.

Andre Ayew drifts in from the left on to his right peg, we all know he wants shooting space... he barely gets any but has a try anyway and it's high and wide. Good defending.

"Arsenal, Arsenal," comes the cry from the home faithful. It's not a convincing chant though. It's quite weak in truth. With every passing minute, the critics are sharpening their swords to start swinging at the Gunners.

Arsenal 1-1 Swansea

Alexis Sanchez collects in midfield and is forced back briefly before unleashing a long ball over the top which gets Mesut Ozil a sight of goal. He cannot keep his footing in the area though as he tussled with a defender and a ball dropping over his shoulder. It was a tough ask.

Arsenal 1-1 Swansea

Stephen Kingsley has a rare chance to get forward from his Swansea left-back berth and he looks to cross first time. It's a good ball, into the corridor of uncertainty and Petr Cech thought about coming to gather it but stayed put. Arsenal hold firm but it was a quality delivery.

Arsenal 1-1 Swansea

Alexis with a blast from in the area, that stings the legs of Stephen Kingsley and ends up in the hands of Lukasz Fabianski.

Closing in on Thierry

Arsenal 1-1 Swansea

Mesut Ozil and Thierry Henry

Mesut Ozil has showcased his talent this season, churning out stellar display after stellar display and he stands close to a little bit of Arsenal history.

The German international has created 18 goals this season, just two shy of Thierry Henry's club record set in 2002-03.

Henry of course has a statue outside Emirates Stadium. Could Ozil one day?

Arsenal need Ozil to produce in this second period. Surely they must win this game?

Arsenal 1-1 Swansea

Hector Bellerin

Stephen Kingsley as been solid at left back for Swansea and he heads an Alexis Sanchez cross clear. Arsenal come again though and Hector Bellerin races into the area on the charge, he will pull this back but no one is on hand, it's behind everyone.

Arsenal lack a leader

Arsenal 1-1 Swansea

Steve Claridge

On BBC Radio 5 Live

“There are no other teams that can dominate like Arsenal do, yet they go into the break at 1-1. They had a spell of 10 minutes where they don’t dominate and they conceded.

"Leadership off the ball is what they lack.”

SUBSTITUTION

Arsenal 1-1 Swansea

Gylfi Sigurdsson is in for Ki in midfield. That looks an attacking change on paper but we will have to see what sort of role Sigurdsson takes up.

KICK-OFF
