Watford bounce back from their 2-0 defeat at Burnley last Monday to secure a point against Bournemouth, who twice led. The Cherries will be disappointed they didn't take all three points after hitting the woodwork three times.

Watford 2-2 Bournemouth

Terrific effort by both teams. They have conjured up a thoroughly entertaining match.

HITS THE WOODWORK

Watford 2-2 Bournemouth

Oh my word. Junior Stanislas clatters a free-kick against the Watford bar. That's three times Bournemouth have been denied by the woodwork. Incredible.

Watford 2-2 Bournemouth

Just over 10 minutes remaining. No sign of either team shutting up shop and playing out for a draw.

Watford 2-2 Bournemouth

There is plenty of time left for another twist to this gripping game. No one is leaving.

Jack Wilshere reacts

Jack Wilshere is unmarked inside the Watford area when he receives a pass with the net in front of him. Surely Bournemouth score? No, Wilshere hits the post for the second time in the game. Watford escape and Wilshere once again fails to complete the game as he is substituted.

Watford 2-2 Bournemouth

16 - Troy Deeney is now Watford's joint-highest Premier League goalscorer with 16 goals (level with Odion Ighalo). Sweet.

Success

Hold the back page. Success has had some success in front of goal to get Watford back on level terms.

You can't take your eyes off this. Watford are back on level terms within two minutes and it's another substitute who makes an immediate impact as Isaac Success rises high above the Bournemouth defence to place a lovely header beyond Artur Boruc. What a terrific game.

Joshua King

What an impact by Bournemouth substitute Joshua King. The forward has only just come off the bench when he collects the ball just inside the Watford half and ploughs forward before dispatching a 25 yard shot which takes a deflection before finding the net.

CLOSE!

Watford 1-1 Bournemouth

Troy Deeney thinks he's got his 100th Watford goal after getting his head on the end of Nordin Amrabat's cross. Artur Boruc is down to keep his side in the game.

HITS THE WOODWORK

Watford 1-1 Bournemouth

So close for Jack Wilshere. The England midfielder is denied his first Bournemouth after a jinking run ends with him dispatching a curling low shot which rattles a post. Great response by Bournemouth.

GOAL - Watford 1-1 Bournemouth

Troy Deeney

How would Watford cope without Troy Deeney? The Hornets skipper's 99th goal from seven yards for the club draws them level. It's all about Nordin Amrabat whose trickery out wide allows Deeney to score.

CLOSE!

Watford 0-1 Bournemouth

Troy Deeney with an outrageous close range 'scorpion kick' from a corner almost draws Watford level. They would have been talking about that for years if it had gone in.

Watford 0-1 Bournemouth

Bournemouth started the weekend 15th but they are now up to 10th in the 'as it stands' table.

KICK-OFF

Watford 0-1 Bournemouth

Back under way. No changes for either team.

Gomes at fault

Watford 0-1 Bournemouth

The more you see a replay of Bournemouth's goal, the more Heurelho Gomes appears to be at fault. The Watford keeper should have kept out Callum Wilson's header.

Dion Dublin was right [see 15:36].

'Generous Watford'

Watford 0-1 Bournemouth

9 - Watford haven't kept a clean sheet in their last nine Premier League home games, the longest current run in the division. Generous.

HALF-TIME - Watford 0-1 Bournemouth

Watford are 45 minutes away from a fourth defeat in six Premier League games.

YELLOW CARD

Watford 0-1 Bournemouth

Will this finish 11 v 11? Bournemouth defender Simon Francis becomes the fifth player to be booked for a late challenge on Etienne Capoue.

CHANCE

Watford 0-1 Bournemouth

Bournemouth should be 2-0 up. Callum Wilson skips past a couple of challenges and lays it off for the unmarked Andrew Surman, who lashes over from the edge of the area.

GREAT SAVE!

Watford 0-1 Bournemouth

Not just one save but a terrific double stop from Bournemouth's 36-year-old keeper Artur Boruc to twice deny Nordin Amrabat and ensure the Cherries still lead. Bournemouth's Adam Smith is booked for a foul on left-back Jose Holebas in the build-up.

Watford 0-1 Bournemouth

Eddie Howe is out of his seat encouraging his players and gesturing wildly while furiously chewing gum.

Watford 0-1 Bournemouth

Watford are not pressing the panic button just yet. The hosts are spraying the ball around with confidence but they are struggling to create an opening. Odion Ighalo is allowed to power forward unchallenged but it comes to nothing. It sparks the first signs of frustration from the home fans.

Seventh heaven

Watford 0-1 Bournemouth

7 - No player has scored more Premier League goals for Bournemouth than Callum Wilson. Deadly.

That's rubbish from Heurelho Gomes in the Watford goal! He should have saved that.

Watford 0-1 Bournemouth

That was only Bournemouth's fifth Premier League goal of the season. Watford have still not managed a clean sheet under Walter Mazzarri, whose 55th birthday celebrations are in danger of being ruined.

GOAL - Watford 0-1 Bournemouth

Callum Wilson

Callum Wilson celebrates

Where did that come from? Bournemouth have offered little going forward but they take the lead as Callum Wilson gets his head on the end of Junior Stanislas' cross. There's a slight deflection which takes the ball beyond Heurelho Gomes. Bournemouth fans are in full voice for the first time.

YELLOW CARD

Watford 0-0 Bournemouth

Mike Dean is the busiest man on the pitch. The referee produces his third yellow card of the match as Jack Wilshere is hacked down by Roberto Pereyra.

Watford 0-0 Bournemouth

We're still awaiting the first shot on target from either team with half an hour approaching. Jordon Ibe skins his man before drilling a low cross into the six yard area but it is easily gathered by Heurelho Gomes.

Watford 0-0 Bournemouth

Jose Holebas has a go from 25 yards. It's low. It's hard. It's well wide...
