Goodbye

Burnley 2-1 Everton

What a finish. Burnley absolutely jubilant after securing their third win of the season and Everton are shell-shocked. There only looked one winner for the final half-hour and it wasn't the hosts.

They won't care though. Thanks for joining us and goodbye.

GOAL - Burnley 2-1 Everton

Scott Arfield (90 mins)

Astonishing. Having been right on the back foot for the last 30 minutes, Burnley have surely won it.

A fre-kick is pumped into the box by Tom Heaton, it comes out to Johann Berg Gudmundsson and his shot from 20 yards rattles the bar but Scott Arfield is there to slide home the rebound.

SUBSTITUTION

Burnley 1-1 Everton

Still the pressure piling on Burnley, Lukaku, Deulofeu and Lukaku all close to getting shots away but the ball won't break for the visitors.

Goalscorer Vokes off for Burnley, Patrick Bamford on.

Ward has to go off and is replaced by Jon Flanagan, on loan from Liverpool.

Tom Cleverley replaces Idrissa Gueye for Everton.

Bolasie tries his luck from wide out on the left - tipped over by Heaton but it was probably going over anyway.

Burnley's Stephen Ward is down again and needs treatment.

Burnley 1-1 Everton

All Everton now, crosses peppering the Burnley box. Coleman nearly fires it into Lukaku but the Belgian can't bring it under control.

CLOSE!

Burnley 1-1 Everton

Romulu Lukaku again denied as he prepares to head in Yannick Bolase's delicious chipped cross from the left - Tom Heaton palms it away with the Belgian ready to nod his side in front.

Kevin Mirallas off for the visitors, Gerard Deulofeu on.

SUBSTITUTION

Burnley 1-1 Everton

Burnley are retreating here. You feel they would be happy enough to settle for a point, while Everton are going for the win.

The first change of the game and Michael Kightly comes off for the hosts and is replaced by James Tarkowski.

Burnley 1-1 Everton

It's been a while since Burnley offered a serious attacking threat but Johann Berg Gudmundsson wins a free-kick in the Everton half. The eventual delivery is far too strong though.

CLOSE!

Burnley 1-1 Everton

So nearly for Everton. Seamus Coleman breaks free down the right and his low cross will offer Romelu Lukaku a tap-in but Michael Keane crucially just gets across to stab it behind for a corner.

The Toffees looking the more likely.

Burnley 1-1 Everton

Everton dominating possession again in the last 10 minutes. A lot of Claret shirts behind the ball though.

Scott Arfield and Gareth Barry getting stuck into each other before the former brings down the Everton midfielder.

It's a lively second half and this game is there for the winning.

GOAL - Burnley 1-1 Everton

Yannick Bolasie (58 mins)

Everton back on terms, Idrissa Gueye winning the ball in midfield and the ball is sent through to Romelu Lukaku in space on the right by Gareth Barry. Lukaku takes a touch but Yannick Bolasie has the confidence to shrug his team-mate off the ball and drill a low right-foot shot across Tom Heaton.

Bolasie showing plenty of confidence there. Good job he scored or questions may have been asked.

Burnley 1-0 Everton

I was about to write that Burnley were looking solid at the back before that incident. Everton turning up the wick, winning a corner but Ashley Williams is penalised for holding when the ball comes over.

Burnley 1-0 Everton

An opening for Everton as Gueye feeds Mirallas on the left. Plenty of time to slide it across to the on-rushing Lukaku who points to where he wants it. The Belgian striker would have had an empty goal to aim at but his compatriot's cross was too far ahead of him.

Burnley 1-0 Everton

Burnley can't make anything of it and Everton can break into the Clarets' half.

Burnley 1-0 Everton

Ross Barkley goes down in the box put the penalty appeals are unconvincing.

Ref Mike Jones then gives a long warning to Seamus Coleman after the already booked Everton right-back brings down Stephen Ward. Free-kick to Burnley in the Everton half and Ashley Williams heads behind for a corner.

Burnley 1-0 Everton

Everton on the offensive first. A low left-foot shot from Ross Barkley but Tom Heaton is down low to make a comfortable enough save.

KICK-OFF

Burnley 1-0 Everton

And Everton get us going again. Have they cleared their heads during the interval? Or can Burnley build on their lead? No changes for either side.

Burnley 1-0 Everton

Former Everton midfielder Leon Osman isn't impressed by side's first-half efforts.

Possibly slightly harsh given the Toffees' general dominance but they did become less convincing as the half progressed.

2 - Sam Vokes has scored in consecutive PL appearances after netting just one goal in his previous 33 in the competition. Flourish.

YELLOW CARD

Burnley 1-0 Everton

It's not been a particularly dirty game but maybe a bit niggly and Seamus Coleman is shown for the fourth yellow card of the day for pulling back a Burnley player.

INJURY TIME

Burnley 1-0 Everton

Two added minutes...

Burnley 1-0 Everton

Can Everton respond before half-time? Not with passes like that from Seamus Coleman, trying to find Lukaku but sending it straight out for a goal-kick.

For all Everton's dominance of possession and territory, it's a while since they forced Tom Heaton to make a save.

Sam Vokes (39 mins)

Wouldn't you know it.

Everton had been overwhelmingly the better side but allow Scott Arfield to charge at their penalty area. His poked shot is fairly weak but Maarten Stekelenburg, the hero against Manchester City seven days ago, can only palm it into the path of Sam Vokes who has an easy job to turn it in.

YELLOW CARD

Burnley 0-0 Everton

Burnley record signing Jeff Hendrick is booking number three for a late challenge on Idrissa Gueye on halfway

Gueye had overhit the pass so there was no need for the Irish midfielder to do that.

Ref Mike Jones is now having a word with Burnley's Scott Arfield after the midfielder fouled Gareth Barry. Arfield has already been booked and needs to tread carefully.

Burnley 0-0 Everton

Everton captain Phil Jagielka, who conceded two penalties at Manchester City last Saturday, plays a shocking free-kick that puts team-mate Kevin Mirallas in all sorts of trouble as Jeff Hendrick steals the ball.

The visitors end up defending a free-kick because of Jagielka's error but Burnley can't make anything of it.

YELLOW CARD

Burnley 0-0 Everton

Idrissa Gueye becomes the second man to be booked - for a challenge on Scott Arfield, who was given the first earlier by referee Mike Jones.

Nothing major in that - barely a foul as Arfield ran across Gueye, definitely not a booking.

Before that Everton were threatening again and Mirallas nearly got another shot away from 12 yards before he was forced off the ball.

Burnley 0-0 Everton

Everton keeper Maarten Stekelenburg has largely been a spectator so far but Sam Vokes gives him something to do with a shot from 25 yards. Comfortable enough and no need to dive.

Burnley 0-0 Everton

Everton playing lots of short passes near the Burnley penalty area. One eventually goes astray but they're not being put under enough pressure by the hosts.

Here come the Toffees again and Dean Marney makes an important tackle to halt Lukaku on the edge of the area.

YELLOW CARD

Burnley 0-0 Everton

The first booking goes to Burnley's Scott Arfield who virtually rugby tackles Everton right-back Seamus Coleman as the Irishman threatens to go on a charging run. However, Coleman was only 30 yards from his own goal - absolutely no need to put yourself on a booking so early in the game for that.

GREAT SAVE!

Burnley 0-0 Everton

Another decent stop from Tom Heaton as he gets down low to a 20-yard Romelu Lukaku shot. The offside flag was up anyway.

That's not the case when Barkley cuts onto his right foot and unleashes a rasper - smart work from Heaton to parry it away.
