Phew and goodbye for now

It's been a long day, but there's been plenty of thrills.

Hopefully there will be even more on Tuesday when we have live coverage of the first two Scottish League Cup quarter-finals as Queen of the South are Rangers' visitors and Greenock Morton host Dundee United.

Join us then.

Watch the Premiership highlights

Well, you can see highlights of that game from Inverness and its exciting finish - plus Aberdeen's win over Dundee - on the BBC Sport website after midnight.

Match highlights from yesterday's four Premiership games can be viewed after 18:00.

'Frustrated but keeper was remarkable'

FT: Inverness Caledonian Thistle 2-2 Celtic

Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers was content with the point despite his side losing their first league points of the season.

"I think we had enough chances in the game and enough good play," he told BBC Scotland.

"The keeper had a remarkable game with some great saves.

"A little bit frustrated, but coming off a tough week, if we can't take all three points, one will do.

"Some of our movement and tempo of attack was brilliant and you have to credit the goalkeeper and, on another day, we could have scored another four or five.

"If you don't score those four or five, you have to be better defensively and we didn't press the game enough at the top end of the field."

Boys 'fantastic', says Foran

FT: Inverness Caledonian Thistle 2-2 Celtic

Caley Thistle boss Richie Foran was more pleased with his players than with the referee.

"The first half, the pace of the game was fantastic," he said.

"Our performance was terrific, but second half Celtic were in charge.

"But I told the boys they would get one more chance and we got it.

"The desire and hunger is there, but there is a lot more to come and, when we peak, some team is going to be punished by us."

As for man of the match Owain Fon Williams, Foran said of the goalkeeper: "He struggled all week with a groin problem and passed a late fitness test, but he was immense for us."

'He should have been sent off'

FT: Inverness Caledonian Thistle 2-2 Celtic

While pundits continue to argue over that first-half incident where Erik Sviatchenko challenged Ross Draper on the edge of the Celtic penalty area, Caley Thistle manager Richie Foran has no doubts that referee Don Robertson got it wrong.

"I don't think it is a penalty, it is just outside," he told BBC Scotland. "He put his body in front of the boy and he came in behind him.

"But it is a clear foul and a clear sending off. To have a man sent off, it changes the game and the referee has to be brave."

Owain On-Form Williams

Owain Fon Williams is obviously flying after his time with the Wales squad at the Euro 2016 finals.

The 25-year-old didn't get to play in France, but he has returned with confidence high and his performance against Celtic was one of the best from a goalkeeper this season.

Changes at top and bottom

FT: Inverness Caledonian Thistle 2-2 Celtic

That late Alex Fisher goal prevents Celtic from establishing a five-point lead at the top of the Premiership, but they are still three ahead of Hearts and St Johnstone with a game in hand.

Perhaps more significantly, Caley Thistle move back off the bottom of the table, a point ahead of Partick Thistle.

It's a goalkeeper's life

FT: Inverness Caledonian Thistle 2-2 Celtic

Man of the match Owain Fon Williams told BBC Scotland: "It is the spirit we've got in the dressing-room.

"We put everything into it and it paid off in the end.

"It is the life of a goalkeeper. Sometimes it pays off, sometimes it doesn't and thankfully it paid off today."

It was a wonderful performance by Fon Williams. Celtic didn't do much wrong, although they lost goals, which must be a slight concern

HITS THE WOODWORK

Alex Fisher comes on for Caley Thistle, replacing Lonsana Doumbouya, the French striker having had a thankless task on his own up front in his first start for the Highlanders.

That is the last bit of action for the Celtic winger, who is replaced with James Forrest.

Changes from both sides, with winger Jake Mulraney coming on for Liam Polworth for Caley Thistle and Jozo Simunovic replacing Cristian Gamboa in Celtic's defence.

A wild swipe by Erik Sviatchenko as he attempts to clear a high ball almost presents Aaron Doran with a chance, but the ball runs clear of the Caley Thistle man.

Doran on for Vigurs

Inverness Caledonian Thistle 1-2 Celtic

Iain Vigurs, who has been criticised by the BBC Radio Scotland pundits for his attempt to play as a defensive midfielder, is replaced with Aaron Doran by Caley Thistle boss Richie Foran. The introduction of the winger suggests that Ross Draper will drop back alongside Greg Tansey.

Fizzing Foran?

Inverness Caledonian Thistle 1-2 Celtic

Reporter Martin Dowden has revealed on BBC Radio Scotland that Caley Thistle manager Richie Foran spoke to referee Don Robertson during the half-time break.

The Irishman appears to have thought his side were denied a stonewall penalty when Ross Draper was challenged by Erik Sviatchenko and we will no doubt be hearing more of his thoughts after the final whistle.

HITS THE WOODWORK

Inverness Caledonian Thistle 1-2 Celtic

It is the crossbar's turn to rescue Caley Thistle as Callum McGregor takes aim from the edge of the penalty box.

GREAT SAVE!

Another superb stop from Owain Fon Williams as he diverts over the crossbar after Kieran Tierney powers into the penalty box and unleashes a piledriver across the Caley Thistle goalkeeper.

GREAT SAVE!

Inverness Caledonian Thistle 1-2 Celtic

Owain Fon Williams does well to push the ball away as Celtic striker Moussa Dembele makes room for himself inside the penalty box to fire powerfully at the Wales goalkeeper. Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane was in the papers this morning predicting that his fellow Frenchman will become one of Europe's top strikers, but I had almost forgot he was playing today, he has been that quiet.

Both players were booked for simulation during the 1-0 victory over Hearts.

After the match, St Johnstone manager Tommy Wright said he would fine the players if he agreed with the referee.
