Top three win

Irish Premiership

That's all for today, with the top three winning their matches. So Crusaders remain five points clear of Linfield, but David Healy's men have a match in hand. Ballymena have consolidated their hold on third place by beating Glentoran, while Cliftonville's win at Portadown lifts them to fourth.

Next Saturday it derby day - Crues v Reds at Seaview, Glenavon at home to Portadown, Coleraine hosting Ballymena. And will Glentoran appoint a new manager and hand him a tasty first match against Linfield at the Oval?

See you next week.

What they said

Coleraine 2-2 Glenavon

For Gary Hamilton and Glenavon it will feel like a defeat, having been 2-0 up. Our aim now is to carry this momentum into the match against Ballymena next week. We are both in good form so it could be a cracker.

What they said

Portadown 0-3 Cliftonville

We were a bit disappointed to be 0-0 at half-time. I spoke to the lads and they knew they could up it 5-10% and we did that. Some of the goals and play we had were fantastic and we fully justified the 3-0 win.

Mal DonaghyAssistant manager, Cliftonville

What they said

Crusaders 5-1 Ballinamallard United

My last goal was back in 2012 before I joined Crusaders. I just went up for a corner and, when Gavin Whyte put it in, I managed to get a glancing header in, and it was great to see it hit the net. It doesn't happen too often so it was nice, although the most important thing was the win.

What they said

Ballymena United 4-1 Glentoran

Glentoran deserved to be ahead at half-time and thankfully for us it was only 1-0. They were quicker and sharper and we did not do ourselves justice. But the players responded magnificently and were superb in the second half. Our aspirations have not changed, we want to be in the top six. Remember on the first day of the season we were thumped 6-0, but the character and courage my players have shown has been remarkable
