Match of the Day

Gary has spoken...

1. Chelsea v Everton

2. Bournemouth v Sunderland

3. Burnley v Crystal Palace

4. Manchester City v Middlesbrough

5. West Ham v Stoke

Ex-Tottenham midfielder Jermaine Jenas and former Arsenal striker Ian Wright will join Gary to have their say on all of today's games and major talking points.

Chelsea 5-0 Everton

Chelsea boss Antonio Conte for BBC Sport: "It was a great game, a good performance.

"The players deserve this because they show me great commitment and I can tell they are working very hard.

"It is great for Thibaut Courtois, in some games we would conceded two or three goals but now situation has changed. The team has more balance defensively, but we don't lose our offensive situation, we are creating ore chance to score goals.

"It is important for confidence to be top of the league. We have to continue as Everton is now in the past."

'The whole team is playing well'

Chelsea 5-0 Everton

Chelsea wing-back Marcos Alonso, speaking to BT Sport: "I am very happy to score my first goal, the whole team is playing very well and that is important. Now is time to rest over the international break and come back with the same concentration."

Chelsea 5-0 Everton

A good performance, Antonio? Just good!? I think it was a bit better than that...

'A good performance'

Chelsea 5-0 Everton

Chelsea boss Antonio Conte, speaking to BT Sport: "It was a good performance, I am pleased. I think we played good football, we created chances to score and kept a fifth clean sheet in a row.

"I am pleased for the players, they were fantastic. We must continue to work hard.

"Eden Hazard played an impressive game. We all know he is a talented player, I see he is working a lot for the team and his teammates are very happy for this. He must continue, he is showing his talent in every game.

"It wasn't easy for Marcos Alonso to arrive in England, change leagues, so I am very happy for him.

"It is fantastic to be top of the league, today it was important to play and to win."

Chelsea 5-0 Everton

Everton manager Ronald Koeman, speaking to BBC Sport: "The difference was too big between Chelsea and Everton, the one positive thing is it is only three points."

'Chelsea showed us how to play'

Chelsea 5-0 Everton

In the tunnel at Stamford Bridge. Ronald Koeman tells me: "It didn't matter what system we played. Chelsea showed us how to press & play."

We didn't compete - Jagielka

Chelsea 5-0 Everton

Everton defender Phil Jagielka: "We were second best all over the park - we thoroughly deserved to lose.

"Every time they went forward they had a chance of scoring a goal. Frustration for the fans coming down, but hopefully it is just one game and we can bounce back.

"You don't want to give any side a 2-0 head start - never mind someone of their quality - because then you're just chasing the game.

"You have to come here and compete and we didn't do that."

'Five beautiful goals'

Chelsea 5-0 Everton

Chelsea goalscorer Eden Hazard, speaking to BT Sport: "It was an unbelievable win. We scored five beautiful goals and could have scored more. I am enjoying my football, we are playing well, we are creating a lot of chances and scoring a lot of goals.

"Top of the table is a good place and we want to stay there until the end."

They were too strong - Koeman

Chelsea 5-0 Everton

Everton boss Ronald Koeman, to BT Sport: "They played very well, I expected more from my team. It was a big difference in every aspect.

"It was not about the system, the difference was the mentality to win the game With five defenders we control it, after 2-0 it was over.

"You have to accept sometimes n life your opponent is by far the better team.

"It is a difficult system to play against, the big difference with Chelsea is they have the winning mentality and quality on the ball. They were far too strong for Everton."

All about 3-4-3

Chelsea 5-0 Everton

Since Antonio Conte changed formation five games ago, Chelsea have won five games, kept five clean sheets and scored 16 goals.

I predict every team in the Premier League will be playing 3-4-3 by the end of the month.

Chelsea 5-0 Everton

A little bit of Mambo No. 5 is being pumped through the speakers as Chelsea and Everton fans leave Stamford Bridge.

A cheeky nod to the scoreline?

No longer feeling blue

Chelsea 5-0 Everton

Last season must feel like a rapidly fading bad dream for Chelsea fans.

They have now won five of their six Premier League home games this season, as many as they managed in the whole of 2015/16.

Robert: Has anyone seen Romelu Lukaku?? Was last seen leaving the tunnel at Stamford Bridge sometime around 5:30pm.

Vishak: Koeman's Everton thoroughly undone at Stamford Bridge today. It's been a refreshing 10/10 performance by Chelsea.

Chelsea 5-0 Everton

What a display!

Everyone is up on their feet applauding after one of the best - if not the best - performances by a Premier League side this season.

Chelsea go top of the table. On this display, it will take something special to deny them that position come May.

Chelsea 5-0 Everton

All over and Everton are finally put out of their misery.

Chelsea 5-0 Everton

Diego Costa just fails to meet a cross as Chelsea put together one last attack. He clutches the net and grimaces in frustration. He wants more!

Chelsea 5-0 Everton

Shot number 21 for Chelsea as Victor Moses cuts inside before sending a shot towards the near post. Maarten Stekelenburg  dives to keep it out.

We're into three minutes of time added on.

Chelsea 5-0 Everton

It looks like Everton are going to finish this game without a shot on target. There's only one team doing the attacking at the moment.

Chelsea 5-0 Everton

Ronny Goodlass

Former Everton winger on BBC Radio Merseyside

I know it is fireworks night tonight, but for Everton it has been more like Halloween, it has been a fright night.

Chelsea 5-0 Everton

Diego Costa is limping again. An injury to the striker would take a bit of the shine off the win. After a bit of grimacing, he shakes it off and is good to carry on.

Four minutes left.

Diego Costa limping

Chelsea 5-0 Everton

Final change for Chelsea as John Terry comes on for Gary Cahill.

Cahill doesn't look like he's played over 80 minutes of a football match. Although, to be fair, it's been one of the easier shifts he has had to put in.

Andy in Poole: Wife is yelling "Ten!" at the telly next door, can't tell if she's watching Strictly or urging Chelsea on.

Chelsea 5-0 Everton

A wonderful performance by Eden Hazard is brought to an end as he is replaced by Michy Batshuayi. Another standing ovation, with the applause that bit louder for the forward after a brilliant display.

Play continues and Chelsea almost get a sixth as David Luiz's shot is tipped over.

Hazard substitution

Chelsea 5-0 Everton

Goodness me I forgot Romelu Lukaku was on the pitch. He jogs over to David Luiz when the Chelsea defender gets the ball. Lukaku knows he isn't going to get it and he's teased by the Chelsea players as they pass triangles about him.

A frustrating day for the striker. He's had no service at all.

Chelsea 5-0 Everton

Chants of "Diego, Diego, Diego" from the home fans. Eden Hazard will grab the headlines but Costa has been fantastic today.

There's still time for a sixth, but Chelsea look more concerned with keeping another clean sheet at the moment.

'A statement of intent'

Chelsea 5-0 Everton

Quite a statement of intent this from #cfc. 3-4-3 switch post-Arsenal pivotal. Big players clearly enjoying system and Conte's management.

Chelsea 5-0 Everton

Everton have registered a shot. Kevin Mirallas' header looping harmlessly over.

Chelsea 5-0 Everton

Antonio Conte makes a change and Pedro goes off to a standing ovation. He hugs his manager and high fives his team-mates on the bench.

Oscar is on in his place.

Chelsea 5-0 Everton

A spell of possession for Everton at the moment, but it's not a spell of dominance. Chelsea have 10 men behind the ball, quite content to let the visitors pass it square in the middle of their half.

Some Everton fans are leaving. Can anyone blame them?

John dunthorne: Certainly the best and most watchable team in the Premier League at the moment Chelsea. Congratulations to Conte!

Chelsea 5-0 Everton

Gareth Barry, who was booked just before Chelsea's fifth, goes off and is replaced by Tom Davies for the closing stages.

Everton, by the way, have still not managed a shot on or off target.

Chelsea 5-0 Everton

Ronny Goodlass

You can not give good players time and space. It is far too easy for Chelsea. It has been poor from Everton.

GOAL - Chelsea 5-0 Everton

Is anyone surprised to see a fifth?

It's another great team goal as Diego Costa controls the ball just inside the Everton half before charging at the Everton defence. You can almost hear the defenders' groan as he approaches, Costa passes to Eden Hazard, whose shot is parried by Maarten Stekelenburg, but Pedro is there to prod in.

An absolute masterclass in football at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea 4-0 Everton

Maarten Stekelenburg thumps away Diego Costa's fierce strike as Chelsea go for a fifth.

Are we sure it is Bonfire Night and not Halloween? Ronald Koeman will be having nightmares about this game.
