Goodbye

FA Cup goal
Rex Features

Well, we may not have had the 'standout' shock we all wanted, but we've had plenty of talking points, late goals and high drama to discuss.

You'll be able to view all of the highlights of this round on the BBC Sport website.

Until tomorrow night, it's goodbye from us.

Last but not least

Southport v Fleetwood (Mon, 19:45 GMT)

FA Cup ball
Rex Features

Since the curtain-raisers on Friday night 39 of the FA Cup first-round ties have been completed, but one remains.

It sees fifth-tier Southport host Fleetwood, who are two divisions above them. Fleetwood won their previous meeting 6-0 in 2012, so there's also the revenge factor.

Rest assured, we'll be back again for live text commentary and radio coverage.

Highlights

FT: Blackpool 2-0 Kidderminster

FA Cup: Blackpool 2-0 Kidderminster highlights

Thirty-seven places separate League Two Blackpool and National League North side Kidderminster, and it showed on Sunday.

Jamille Matt got the first against his former club before Brad Potts doubled the Tangerine advantage.

Highlights

FT: Sheffield United 6-0 Leyton Orient

FA Cup: Sheffield United 6-0 Leyton Orient - highlights

It was the widest margin of victory this afternoon as Sheffield United put lower-league Leyton Orient to the sword.

I'm sure Blades fans will be particularly keen to see the six goals in all their glory.

Highlights

FT: Morecambe 1-1 Coventry

League Two side Morecambe could not quite get their first win at home since August, after drawing against third-tier Coventry City.

Watch: How the Magpies got back in it

FT: Boreham Wood 2-2 Notts County

We heard from Notts County's double goalscorer Adam Campbell a moment ago - here's how he got the League Two side back in their game away at Boreham Wood, as they fought back from 2-0 down to earn a replay.

Curle's Carlisle can't lose

FT: St Albans 3-5 Carlisle

Keith Curle

Please admire that grin on Keith Curle's face.

You can hardly blame him for being so chuffed - his Carlisle side didn't have it all their own way at lower-league St Albans but ran out 5-3 winners to make the second round.

And the Cumbrians are the only English Football League side yet to lose a league match this season.

Reaction

FT: Boreham Wood 2-2 Notts County

Campbell
Dan Westwell

Notts County's Adam Campbell - who scored twice for his second away game running as they fought back to level at Boreham Wood - tells BBC Nottingham:

"I'm ecstatic. To score two goals is always nice. Thankfully we've pulled ourselves back into it and we're still in the draw.

"Once our first goal came it was just a matter of time before the second one followed.

"It was vital we didn't get beaten today. The fans stuck with us and thankfully they've gone home at least without a defeat."

Stamford bow out

FT: Hartlepool United 3-0 Stamford

Stamford might be 94 places below Hartlepool in the league pyramid, but they held firm for more than a hour before the floodgates opened at Victoria Park.

Below is the home side's second, an unfortunate own goal.

Hartlepool United (Gordon OG 82') 2-0 Stamford

Protest lowers Blackpool crowd

FT: Blackpool 2-0 Kidderminster

Attendance was 1,963 today. Will confirm away figure when we can.

We expected a low attendance at Bloomfield Road this afternoon with Blackpool fans protesting against their owners, and a crowd of less than 2,000 has been confirmed.

That number included a sizeable contingent from Kidderminster, who saw their side bow out but by no means disgrace themselves.

Four-goal cracker in Somerset

FT: Taunton 2-2 Barrow

Meanwhile, eighth-tier Taunton have every reason to be happy as they remain in the draw for the next round after an entertaining draw at home to National League Barrow, who were reduced to 10 men.

Sunday's headlines

Recap

Callum Camps

It's been a day defined by comebacks by EFL sides.

Rochdale left it until stoppage time against Maidstone to earn a replay against the National League side, while Notts County came from two goals down to draw at Boreham Wood.

Carlisle also ran away with things against St Albans City, having initially gone behind against the sixth-tier side.

Bucking the trend, however, were Alfreton who came from behind to earn a draw with League Two's bottom side Newport.

'I've got to give my players credit'

FT: Alfreton 1-1 Newport

Terry Kennedy's second-half equaliser earned Alfreton Town an FA Cup first-round replay against Newport County, who are 40 places above them in the league ladder, and Alfreton boss Nicky Law was reasonably pleased with what he saw:

"Late on, with better decision making maybe we could've won the game.

"I said to the players before the game, what we've got to do is get in and about them, and we didn't let them play.

"Coming up against full-time opposition, I've got to give my players credit for it."

'We didn't go about it in the right manner'

FT: Boreham Wood 2-2 Notts County

John Sheridan

Notts County manager John Sheridan will be called a tactical mastermind tonight.

With his side struggling against Boreham Wood, Sheridan brought on Adam Campbell, whose brace helped them earn a replay against the National League side.

"We just didn't go about it in the right manner (but) the second half was much better," Sheridan told BBC Radio Nottingham.

"It was a typical FA Cup game but I'm just pleased that we're in the hat."

Watch: The Blades' fourth goal

FT: Sheffield United 6-0 Leyton Orient

Sheffield United eased to a 6-0 win this afternoon - watch their fourth here, from Harrison Chapman, who went on to score a hat-trick.

Non-league sides ran out of steam

FA Cup first round

Speaking on Final Score, which you can watch at the top of this page, ex-Spurs midfielder Jermaine Jenas has given his theory on why so many of the minnows conceded late goals this afternoon:

"It’s usually down to fitness. It’s the training day in day out where the fitness builds.

"Unfortunately for some of the lower league teams the lads are coming in from a tough day at work and training two or three times a week."

Another replay

FT: Morecambe 1-1 Coventry

We mustn't forget League Two Morecambe, who have earned a creditable draw at home to a Coventry side 18 places and one division above them.

That means five of this afternoon's nine FA Cup first-round ties will go to a replay.

FULL-TIME

Blackpool 2-0 Kidderminster

Bloomfield Road was far from full this afternoon, but the Tangerine fans who did attend have seen their side ease to victory over National League side Kidderminster, with both goals coming in the first half.

'I'm a cider drinker'

FT: Taunton 2-2 Barrow

The Wurzels is belting out of the loudspeakers at Taunton Town.

They love them down in Somerset, but the Peacocks, hosting an FA Cup first-round game for the first time, can be proud of their performance.

FULL-TIME

Sheffield United 6-0 Leyton Orient

It wasn't quite the seven that Braintree managed yesterday, but League One giants Sheffield United have won hands down at Bramall Lane.

Leyton Orient play a division below the hosts, but this was really no contest.

It's been a memorable afternoon for Harry Chapman, who completed his second-half hat-trick in stoppage time.

Sheffield United 6 (Chapman 90+2') Leyton Orient 0

FULL-TIME: Taunton 2-2 Barrow

The final whistle goes in Somerset and 10-man Barrow have survived against lower-league Taunton. This one goes to a replay too!

RED CARD (Anthony Acheampong)

Maidstone 1-1 Rochdale

After the final whistle Maidstone centre-back Anthony Acheampong was remonstrating with the referee, and was shown a second yellow card for dissent.

Not the way Maidstone wanted to end the afternoon.

FULL-TIME

St Albans 3-5 Carlisle

An eight-goal cup thriller at Clarance Park, but the EFL side have prevailed in this one after stiff resistance from the hosts.

See St Albans' third, and the final goal of the game below - nice finish.

FULL-TIME

Boreham Wood 2-2 Notts County

Boreham Wood looked set for a first ever victory over a League side, but Adam Campbell's brace has denied them victory at Meadow Park.

Maidstone 1-0 Rochdale

Another free-kick on the edge of the box for Rochdale. I get the feeling of deja vu right now.

FULL-TIME: Hartlepool 3-0 Stamford

Fitness was the difference at Victoria Park, as non-league Stamford had nothing left to give after falling behind to Hartlepool.

It was far from plain-sailing and the League Two side will relieved to be through,

Maidstone 1-0 Rochdale

Steve Davies' effort smashes into the wall and Maidstone clear.

Four minutes added time signaled.

Four minutes for Maidstone to hang on.

Four minutes for Rochdale to find a leveller.

FULL-TIME: Alfreton 1-1 Newport

They're going to need a replay - Alfreton battled back to deny League Two Newport.

Maidstone 1-0 Rochdale

Free-kick on the edge of the area for Rochdale. What can they do?

DISALLOWED GOAL (Notts County)

Boreham Wood 2-2 Notts County

Notts County think they've won it late on through Vadaine Oliver, but the linesman flags for offside.

Gutting for the League Two side but such drama in the FA Cup.

HITS THE WOODWORK

Taunton Town 2-2 Barrow

Eighth-tier Taunton Town are pushing for a famous winner at home to 10-man Barrow of the National League.

Striker Matt Wright, formerly a Crystal Palace trainee, has struck the post at the Viridor Stadium.

Boreham Wood 2-2 Notts County

Into the final five minutes. Will we find a winner?

Maidstone 1-0 Rochdale

Rochdale have lost their two most recent FA Cup first-round matches against non-league opposition, and can't seem to find a way past a stubborn Maidstone defence.

The non-league side can't seem to hold onto the ball much at the moment, but goalscorer Bobby-Joe Taylor does fire over from the edge of the area.
