More from Stourbridge manager Gary Hackett: "When you look back to the atmosphere against Whitehawk, the place was buzzing. There were another 500 in here tonight and the atmosphere kept everybody going.

"We had a 15-minute spell in the second half when there were some very tired legs but the crowd kept them going. We hung on, defended immensely and (goalkeeper) Matt Gould’s not had a shot to save.

"This has got to be the biggest, beating a League One side at home. This is what the FA Cup is about."

MK Dons 3-1 Charlton

Mk Dons celebrate

MK Dons become the fifth team to secure their place in the FA Cup third round with extra-time goals from Dean Bowditch and Ben Reeves added to Daniel Powell's early strike.

Not a happy return to Stadium MK for Charlton boss Karl Robinson, but another win for new Dons manager Robbie Neilson.

A trip to Championship side Brighton is their reward.

GOAL: MK Dons 3-1 Charlton

Dean Bowditch

Is that the goal which secures a visit to Championship side Brighton in round three?

On the stroke of the half-time break in extra-time, Dean Bowditch is sent through behind the defence and he stays calm to stroke the ball home.

The Dons are looking good for a spot in the third round.

But nothing quite like this...

Souleymane Doukara

After a slow start, it's been another entertaining night in the Championship, with goals in all nine games tonight.

Brighton are back to the top of the table with their win over 10-man Blackburn Rovers, while Souleymane Doukara scored a late penalty to secure Leeds a 2-0 win at home to third-placed Reading and lift his side up to fifth in the table.

Cardiff's win over Wolves takes them out of the relegation zone and up to 19th, one place above their opponents.

  • Birmingham City 2-1 Ipswich Town
  • Blackburn Rovers 2-3 Brighton & Hove Albion
  • Bristol City 0-1 Brentford
  • Burton Albion 0-1 Huddersfield Town
  • Cardiff City 2-1 Wolves
  • Fulham 2-1 Rotherham United
  • Leeds United 2-0 Reading
  • Norwich City 1-0 Aston Villa
  • Sheffield Wednesday 2-0 Barnsley

GOAL: MK Dons 2-1 Charlton

Ben Reeves

Just three minutes into extra-time and it is advantage MK Dons.

And this is some strike from Ben Reeves who drills one into the top corner from the edge of the area.

New Dons boss Robbie Neilson leads former manager Karl Robinson again at Stadium MK.

'Stourbridge deserved it'

FT: Stourbridge 1-0 Northampton

Northampton Town commentator Tim Oglethorpe told BBC Northampton:

"You just wonder what this sort of damage this will do to Northampton for the rest of the season.

"The real frustrations is the way the Cobblers just didn't shape up.

"Take nothing away from Stourbridge as they were outstanding tonight.

"I'm afraid Northampton Town should be ashamed of themselves as they deserved this tonight."

FULL-TIME: Blackburn 2-3 Brighton

Brighton go back to the top of the Championship as the final whistle blows at Ewood Park.

The visitors are now two points clear of second-placed Newcastle, while Blackburn slide back into the relegation zone.

Rovers fought right up to the very end, but Sam Gallagher's second goal was too little, too late for Owen Coyle's side.

BreakingNon-league Stourbridge knock out Northampton

Stourbridge 1-0 Northampton

A team in the seventh tier of English football will be in the third round of the FA Cup!

This was no lucky win either as Stourbridge created chances throughout the game but Jack Duggan was the hero in the late stages with the only goal.

The non-league club is £27,000 better off and they will travel to League Two's Wycombe in January.

A miserable night for Rob Page's Cobblers side.

GOAL (Gallagher)

Blackburn 2-3 Brighton

A glimmer of hope for Blackburn?

Sam Gallagher doubles his personal tally to pull 10-man Rovers within a goal of Brighton, putting the finishing touches to a swift breakaway move.

There's about a minute left at Ewood Park.

Stourbridge 1-0 Northampton

The non-league side in full retreat mode now as they are holding off wave of Northampton attacks.

Elsewhere, Fleetwood have come back from 2-0 down to lead 3-2 against Shrewsbury with Ash Hunter grabbing what looks like a late winner.

FULL-TIME: Norwich 1-0 Aston Villa

A huge win for Norwich, with Nelson Oliveira's goal the only difference between the two sides.

Aston Villa offered very little going forward throughout the game, failing to register a single shot on target.

The Canaries climb to eighth as it stands.

Nelson Oliveira

Norwich 1-0 Aston Villa

Into added time at Carrow Road, and Norwich look set for just their second victory in their past eight games.

There are three minutes left for Aston Villa to find a late goal to spoil the Canaries' party.

Fiery finish in Sheffield

Sheffield Wednesday 2-0 Barnsley

A bad night for Barnsley gets worse when Adam Hammill is shown a straight red card for a dangerous challenge on Sam Hutchinson.

It gets worse for the Tykes - head coach Paul Heckingbottom is sent to the stands shortly afterwards.

Elsewhere, Cardiff have turned the game on its head against Wolves, Anthony Pilkington drilling the ball home from just inside the box to make it 2-1 to the hosts.

And high-flying Huddersfield lead late on at Burton with a header from Nahki Wells.

GOAL: Stourbridge 1-0 Northampton

Jack Duggan

The upset is on!!

Northern Premier League side Stourbridge have deserved this and as the ball comes in from the right, Jack Duggan is the man who turns the ball home after a goalkeeping error in front of screaming fans in the Midlands.

The Glassboys are heading to the third round for the first time in their history if they can hold on against Northampton, who are four divisions above them.

FA Cup latest

Stourbridge 0-0 Northampton

Northampton's fitness levels appear to be telling as they have control of the game at non-league side Stourbridge - remember, this is their first meeting so this will go to a replay next week if it finishes in a draw.

Kane Hemmings grabs a third goal for Oxford against Macclesfield as they head to the third round, while Eastleigh will be joining them as they lead FC Halifax 2-0.

MK Dons 1-1 Charlton and Fleetwood 2-2 Shrewsbury will go to extra-time if those scores stay the same and we will be sticking around to keep you up to date with them.

This content only works in the UK.

Hemmings makes it 3-0 to Oxford

Norwich 1-0 Aston Villa

Ross McCormack and Albert Adomah are both on for Aston Villa, with the former firing narrowly wide from a free-kick as his side press for a late goal against Norwich.

Meanwhile, Sheffield Wednesday are heading into the play-off places. Sam Hutchinson has got the Owls' second to give them a 2-0 lead against Barnsley.

GOAL: Blackburn 1-3 Brighton

Glenn Murray

Surely it's game over at Ewood Park.

Lewis Dunk unleashes a ferocious shot from 25 yards out which Jason Steele can't keep hold of, and Glenn Murray ghosts in to chip the rebound into the net.

That Murray's 13th goal of the season - it's also the first he's scored away from home.

Brighton are going top of the Championship.

Stourbridge 0-0 Northampton

Finally League One's Northampton carve out a clear opportunity. The Cobblers get inside the area through Marc Richards but the goalkeeper does enough to deflect his effort wide.

Devante Cole grabs his second of the night and Fleetwood have come from two goals down to make it 2-2 at home to 10-man Shrewsbury.

Heading for a replay there...

Championship latest

Brentford break the deadlock at Bristol City, as Maxime Colin gets a touch on Romaine Sawyers' shot to deflect the ball past Ivan Lucic in the Robins' goal.

Cardiff have levelled things up having fallen behind in the second minute at home to Wolves, Matthew Connolly taking advantage of some poor defending from a corner to head home.

Fulham's Chris Martin has had a penalty saved but they still lead Rotherham 2-1, while defender Adam Webster has headed a goal back for Ipswich, who now trail Birmingham 2-1.

Blackburn's Greer sent off

Blackburn 1-2 Brighton

Blackburn's hopes of rescuing a point against Brighton take a massive hit as former Seagulls captain Gordon Greer is shown his second yellow card of the night.

It was a needless challenge, but he can have no complaints about the referee's decision.

BBC Northampton

Norwich 1-0 Aston Villa

Steve Bruce will be disappointed with Aston Villa's response to falling behind at Norwich, as they've still not tested John Ruddy.

Ross McCormack and Albert Adomah loom as likely options to come on from the bench if Bruce decides to make a change.

Stourbridge hit the woodwork!

Stourbridge 0-0 Northampton

Stourbridge v Northampton

Stourbridge now hit the crossbar! They've gone from being on top to dominating this game, as Dan Scarr's header is then tipped wide by the Northampton goalkeeper David Cornell.

Elsewhere, Shrewsbury might be bottom of League One but they could be heading into the FA Cup third round. Louis Dodds got their second goal at Fleetwood but, shortly after, Devante Cole got one back for the hosts to make it 2-1.

Eastleigh are still 2-0 up at FC Halifax and it is 1-1 between MK Dons and Charlton on Addicks manager Karl Robinson's return to Milton Keynes.

GOAL: Blackburn 1-2 Brighton

Sam Gallagher

Blackburn are right back in it at Ewood Park, where Sam Gallagher has just scored his eighth goal of the season.

Seagulls keeper David Stockdale fails to get good distance on a punch and the ball eventually falls to Gallagher inside the box.

His finish is emphatic, drilling his shot low and into the corner. There's still 20 minutes for Owen Coyle's side to find an equaliser.

Championship latest

A couple more goals to tell you about in the Championship...

Fulham have turned it around at Craven Cottage - having gone behind early in the first half, they've now taken a 2-1 lead against Rotherham after Floyd Ayite slotted home from Lucas Piazon's cross.

Ipswich appear to be heading for defeat at St Andrew's, where Birmingham have doubled their lead thanks to Michael Morrison's close-range header from David Cotterill's corner.

GOAL: Blackburn 0-2 Brighton

Dale Stephens

Brighton are heading to the top of the Championship.

Dale Stephens has scored an excellent second for the Seagulls. Blackburn failed to clear a free-kick and Stephens volleyed low into the corner from 15 yards to double the visitors' lead.
