There will be a new face in the MK Dons dugout for their second-round replay with Charlton, with Robbie Neilson appointed as their manager yesterday.

The former Hearts coach was watching in the stands at The Valley today and will have seen plenty of positives from his side's display.

It means Karl Robinson will come up against his replacement at Stadium MK - that could be interesting.

The storyline was focused on Karl Robinson's first game in charge of Charlton against the side who dismissed him recently, but this one really failed to spark into life.

No goals, but still plenty of chances and Robinson will return to Stadium MK sooner than he thought he would.

Keith Hill

Rochdale manager Keith Hill on BBC Radio Manchester, following his side's 2-0 win at Carlisle: "Carlisle are a good and effective side. I'm sure they'll get promoted. We defended quite well and we could have won by a bigger margin, but it was a tight game.

"I'm pleased with the professionalism and I'm sure the chairman's pleased that we're through to the next round."

All smiles for Wanderers

FT: Chesterfield 0-5 Wycombe

Normally when a League Two side visit a team a division higher, they would be considered underdogs - but Wycombe defied the gap with a five-star display to sweep aside struggling Chesterfield at the Proact.

Scott Kashket bagged a brilliant hat-trick and a potential tie against a Premier League team awaits.

No wonder boss Gareth Ainsworth looks happy.

FULL-TIME: Blackpool 1-0 Brackley Town

An early goal by Jamille Matt was enough for Gary Bowyer's League Two side to progress into the third round.

But sixth-tier Brackley have given a good account of themselves this afternoon at Bloomfield Road.

BreakingFULL-TIME: Sutton United 2-1 Cheltenham

LATE DRAMA IN THE FA CUP!!!

We said there was time and non-league Sutton have come from a goal down to take the lead for the first time in the match against Cheltenham - six minutes into added time.

Close control by Roarie Deacon, who has been a threat all afternoon, and he then drills his shot into the bottom corner.

Sutton are heading for another memorable FA Cup victory and a place in Monday's third-round draw.

Blackpool 1-0 Brackley Town

Free-kick to Brackley, fairly central, 30 yards out. What can they make of this?

It's whipped in to the far post and turned goalwards, but Sam Slocombe in the Blackpool goal gathers it safely.

That might be it for the non-league side.

Carlisle 0-2 Rochdale

Nathaniel Mendez-Laing secures Rochdale's place in round three in injury-time.

Blackpool 1-0 Brackley Town

And still time for a late twist in this one...

Elsewhere...

Three of our eight games this afternoon are goalless with Sutton Utd and Cheltenham also drawing. Charlton-MK Dons, Plymouth-Newport and Shrewsbury-Fleetwood are yet to see a goal.

At the moment all of those teams will be in Monday's third-round draw, but there's a chance for them to be in the hat on their own with a late winner.

Blackpool 1-0 Brackley Town

Brackley have sent on David Pitt and David Moyo from the bench for the final few minutes against Blackpool, who still lead 1-0.

All or nothing now for the National League North side.

Sutton United 1-1 Cheltenham

Robert Dickie's header comes off the crossbar for Cheltenham when it looked for all the world like it would dip under. Gary Johnson encourages his side forward again from the touchline.

Charlton 0-0 MK Dons

Charlton, and Nicky Ajose, have seen more of the ball in the second period but we still await a breakthrough at The Valley.

Kieran Agard thought he had scored for the visitors before the linesman's flag cut short his celebrations.

It increasingly looks like new Charlton boss Karl Robinson may have a quick return to the Stadium MK to contend with.

Sutton Utd 1-1 Cheltenham

The game is really opening up in Surrey now as both sides press for a winner to send them into the draw on Monday.

Cheltenham are looking the more dangerous when they break in numbers at the moment.

Kashket nets hat-trick for Wycombe

Chesterfield 0-5 Wycombe

Scott Kashket has his third and Wycombe's fifth of the afternoon. It's turning into an FA Cup nightmare for 10-man Chesterfield.

Blackpool 1-0 Brackley

Blackpool v Brackley Town
PA

Brackley have got about 15 minutes to find an equaliser at Blackpool. Jamille Matt's early header seems a long time ago now.

They get a free-kick on the right touchline and the National League North side cause some panic in the Seasiders' defence - goalkeeper Sam Slocombe flaps at a header back across goal and somehow the hosts get it clear.

Wycombe are 4-0 up now - Anthony Stewart is Wanderers' latest goalscorer.

Chesterfield 0-3 Wycombe

Scott Kashket's second of the afternoon should wrap up Wycombe's place in round three. They're 3-0 up away to a team in the division above them, and remember Chesterfield are also down to 10 men.
