"Thankfully we've responded, we could have been better, but there was a resilience about the players.

QPR 0-0 Aston Villa

Some intelligent build up play by Aston Villa as Leandro Bacuna sets up Gary Gardner on the edge of the area.

The midfielder has time to direct his shot but curls it high and wide.

SUBSTITUTION

QPR 0-0 Aston Villa

Gabby Agbonlahor comes on for Aston Villa as he places Ross McCormack.

That comes just after James Perch looped a header over the bar - in the context of this game, that goes down as a good chance.

Tony Fernandes

I wonder what the QPR owner Tony Fernandes has made of this?

His team certainly have not been bad but this has been a hard watch from both teams at times.

Kodjia penalty save

Not the greatest spectacle that first-half.

You wouldn't be surprised to see a change or two for the start of the second 45 minutes.
