That's all for now. Rangers were the only top flight side to win on a day of draws.

We'll back back on Tuesday with a tasty looking double bill.

Premiership leaders Celtic are at home to Hamilton and Aberdeen welcome Motherwell to Pittodrie

Join us again for all of the action.

On Friday, the Accies are playing again, with Rangers visiting New Douglas Park.

Sportscene is on at 18:00 tomorrow and all the weekend highlights will be available online at the same time.

'Rangers showing character'

FT: Rangers 2-0 Hearts

Rangers are gathering some momentum now after good wins over Aberdeen and now Hearts.

"It's been a huge show of character," reckons former striker Steven Thompson, talking on BBC Sportsound.

Rangers celebrate a 2-0 win

'What's happened to Niall McGinn?'

FT: Aberdeen 0-0 St Johnstone

Aberdeen legend Willie Miller is not impressed.

He asks "What's happened to Niall McGinn? He's just gone completely. He's been a bit player this season. If he's not performing and Jonny Hayes are not performing, then who's going to create?"

Maybe McGinn is suffering from burn out after not getting much of summer holiday after Euro 2016?

'Saints created best chances'

FT: Aberdeen 0-0 St Johnstone

St Johnstone manager Tommy Wright talking to BBC Sportsound: "I think we probably just edged it. We certainly created the best chances. We weren't sitting back, hanging on for a draw."

'Dons needed more craft'

FT: Aberdeen 0-0 St Johnstone

Aberdeen boss Derek McInnes talking to BBC Sportsound: "We didn't show enough attacking threat. We are used to winning here so I can understand the frustration. St Johnstone sat in and had a good shape about them. We needed more quality and craft to find an answer. We had the majority of the ball but didn't do enough with it. We'll take the point and move on to Tuesday."

Championship round-up

Hibs and Dundee United remain level on points, with the Easter Road side stretching their goal advantage by a smidge.

Bottom club St Mirren make it back-to-back wins after going so long without a victory.

Edinburgh City 2-0 Stirling Albion

Elgin City 6-0 Berwick Rangers

Forfar Athletic 0-1 Arbroath

Montrose 2-1 Clyde

FULL-TIME Rangers 2-0 Hearts

A very good day for Rangers as they made light work of a Hearts side that had bullied them at Tynecastle just the other week.

Mark Warburton's side are eight points behind Celtic and four points clear of third-placed Aberdeen thanks to goals from Rob Kiernan and Barrie MacKay.

FULL-TIME Aberdeen 0-0 St Johnstone

Maybe the worst of the goalless draws. Aberdeen remain third but lose ground to Rangers in second place.

Saints came closest to snatching a winner when David Wotherspoon's free-kick was touched onto the post.

FULL-TIME Dundee 0-0 Ross County

It was a day for dismal draws. Let's hope the teams are saving something for nearer Christmas.

Remarkably, County have just one win in their past 14 games but they sit mid-table, while Dundee can console themselves with the knowledge that they are just two points off sixth place.

FULL-TIME Inverness CT 1-1 Hamilton

Yet another draw for the Accies. That's 10 for the season.

It was an entertaining game with chances aplenty and a point is enough to nudge Caley Thistle off the foot of the table, with Partick taking a turn at the bottom.

FULL-TIME Motherwell 0-0 Kilmarnock

Kilmarnock hang on to sixth spot after a dire game at Fir Park. Motherwell will be regretting missed chances either side of the interval.

Accies heading for yet another draw

Inverness CT 1-1 Hamilton

Martin Dowden

BBC Sport Scotland at the Caledonian Stadium

It looks like an eighth draw in ten for Hamilton and once again that's thanks to Ali Crawford. Both sides will feel they might have won this and a point might frustrate both.

It will take Inverness off bottom place but it remains so tight down there wins will prove crucial. Neither look like they'll get that now.

Aberdeen 0-0 St Johnstone

Oh so close for Saints as David Wotherspoon's curling free-kick is touched on to the post by goalkeeper Joe Lewis. The ball rebounds across the face of goal before being cleared.

Give us a goal

Approaching the final five minutes of regulation time. We still have three goalless games in the top flight. Any chance of some late drama?

Aberdeen 0-0 St Johnstone

Aberdeen defender Graeme Shinnie almost hands the lead to Saints with a poor headed back-pass.

Saints sub Blair Alston pounces, but his stabbed effort past goalkeeper Joe Lewis slips wide of the far post.

Motherwell 0-0 Kilmarnock

Motherwell striker Scott McDonald flashes a shot just wide just as Kilmarnock were starting to look the better team. The Australian is given the freedom of the box, but can't get it on target.

GOAL Hibernian 2-0 Dumbarton

Brian Graham 76 mins

Brian Graham scores for Hibs
Graham thumps a shot in to double Hibs' lead at Easter Road

Aberdeen 0-0 St Johnstone

St Johnstone have rarely threatened in the second half, but the ball breaks to striker Graham Cummins inside the penalty area and his hitch kick goes well over.

It is quickly followed by a second opportunity as Steven MacLean's shot from distance slips through the fingers of Joe Lewis, but fortunately for the goalkeeper it loops just over the crossbar.

Oh dear...

Dundee 0-0 Ross County

Great chance for Dundee to break the deadlock... Kevin Gomis picks out Marcus Haber and the big Canadian makes a horrible mess of a close-range effort, slicing wide.

Dreary stuff at Dens

Dundee 0-0 Ross County

Rangers 2-0 Hearts

Rangers substitute Martyn Waghorn is clean through but he can't beat Hearts keeper Jack Hamilton, who races out to make a good block.

Flurry of yellow cards

Aberdeen 0-0 St Johnstone

St Johnstone forwards Chris Kane and Steven MacLean are booked in quick succession for late challenges as frustration grows at Pittodrie in a game of little quality.

Ambitious effort

Motherwell 0-0 Kilmarnock

Souleymane Coulibaly attempts an overhead kick, but it's high and not very handsome. The wee Kilmarnock striker thumps the ground in frustration - little is going right for either side up front this afternoon.

Inverness CT 1-1 Hamilon Academical

Accies goalscorer Ali Crawford whips a left-foot shot inches over Owain Fon Williams' crossbar from just outside the box. The hosts dominating play, but Accies look sharp on the counter.

Chances galore in the Highlands

Inverness CT 1-1 Hamilton

Martin Dowden

BBC Sport Scotland at the Caledonian Stadium

Chances flowing in Inverness following Larnell Cole's excellent equaliser.

Greg Tansey thought he put the home side in front but his shot was superbly blocked with Hamilton also going close through Greg Doherty, Darian Mackinnon and Ali Crawford once again.

It really has opened up and Inverness will be desperate for a win to get them away from bottom spot.

Motherwell 0-0 Kilmarnock

For the second time today Motherwell are one on one with the goalkeeper, and once again they pass up the opportunity. This time Louis Moult fails to beat Jamie MacDonald.

Aberdeen 0-0 St Johnstone

Aberdeen came out with the bit between their teeth after the break, but the impetus is fading

Willie MillerBBC Radio Scotland pundit at Pittodrie

Dundee 0-0 Ross County

Nice work from Dundee debutant Jesse Curran tees Craig Wighton up for a shot and his dipping effort flashes narrowly wide.

GOAL Rangers 2-0 Hearts

Barrie McKay, 51 mins

Barrie McKay latches on to Lee Wallace's throw-in to poke the ball home and score his first goal since July.

Rangers celebrate

GOAL Inverness CT 1-1 Hamilton Academical

Larnell Cole, 51 mins

A fantastic leveller for Caley Thistle just six minutes into the second half. The midfielder latches onto a bobbling ball in the Accies box, and finds the roof of the net with his swerving half-volley.

Motherwell lose MacLean

Motherwell 0-0 Kilmarnock

Motherwell are forced into a substitution after just one minute of the second half; Ross MacLean limping off to be replaced by Lee Lucas. MacLean has been at the centre of most of Motherwell's chances in the first half so that is a big blow to Mark McGhee's men.

Ross MacLean (right)

Aberdeen 0-0 St Johnstone

Aberdeen's half-time changes appear to have introduced some urgency to Derek McInnes' side and Jonny Hayes' shot on the turn brings Zander Clark into the action, but the winger's effort is straight at the goalkeeper.

Dundee 0-0 Ross County

Liam Boyce rolls the ball home but the Staggies forward is penalised for a push on Darren O'Dea.

Dons changes

Aberdeen 0-0 St Johnstone

Shay Logan and Jayden Stockley come on for Aberdeen at half-time, with Ryan Jack moving into midfield from right-back and Peter Pawlett and Niall McGinn being hooked.

Steelmen miss golden chances

HT: Motherwell 0-0 Kilmarnock

John Barnes

BBC Scotland at Fir Park

Motherwell should have gone in leading at the interval but they wasted two glorious chances in the final minute of the first half. Ross McLean was denied when clean through by Jamie MacDonald, while Lionel Ainsworth was the biggest sinner failing to hit the target  from eight yards.

Deadlocked at Dens

HT: Dundee 0-0 Ross County

Alasdair Lamont

BBC Sport Scotland at Dens Park

Both sides have created a few chances in the first period, but have just lacked that clinical edge to finish them off. Some of the build-up play has been decent, particularly from County but there is so little between so many of the sides in the bottom half of the Premiership, they often just cancel each other out.
