'We didn't have the luck'

More from Barcelona boss Luis Enrique: "On nightmare days like this one we have not had that touch of luck to get us back into the tie."

Hassan Anfield: Hope Unai Emery will take his whole PSG side to Camp Nou next week. Just to watches how defends a three goals lead.

King David: 2nd leg will be magical. At least we're assured of that.

Girma Kassie: Barca's season just turned worse. They are out this time.

'We saw what happened to PSG'

Juventus 3-0 Barcelona

Juventus midfielder Miralem Pjanic, speaking to BT Sport: "Of course we are very happy but it is not finished yet. We know what they did against Paris and we have to not do that.

"We will see in the second game. The team in this first game played very well but we have to be careful. Barcelona have great players and we have to play the same game - try and score a goal.

"It is not finished, this is just the first half."

On Gianluigi Buffion, Pjanic added: "We have the best goalkeeper in the world, to have him behind us is very important for us."

'We were the better team in the second half'

Barcelona boss Luis Enrique: "We put in a really bad first half. In the second half we were even the better team but we conceded the third."

Leaky Barcelona, watertight Juve - the stats

Juventus 3-0 Barcelona

  • Juventus are unbeaten in their last 18 Champions League home games (W11 D7 L0), their longest ever run without a defeat in the competition on home soil. Their last home defeat in the competition was versus Bayern Munich in April 2013 (0-2).
  • Juventus have now won 16 successive home matches in all competitions and are unbeaten in 48 games there (W42 D6 L0). Their last home defeat in all comps came against Udinese in August 2015.
  • Massimiliano Allegri has equalled Juventus’ longest winning streak in the Champions League (five games – previously done by Fabio Capello in 2004/05 and Antonio Conte in 2012/13).
  • Paulo Dybala has scored more goals in his last two Champions League appearances (3) than he did in his previous 12 games in the competition (2).
  •  Barcelona have lost four of their last five Champions League away games in the KO stages (W1 D0 L4), conceding 12 goals in these games.
  • Juventus haven’t conceded a Champions League goal for 441 minutes now - the longest current run in the competition.
  • Barcelona have conceded at least three goals in consecutive Champions League away games for the first time since October 2000.

Massive game, your team is playing like that and the only substitution you can think of is Gomes for Mathieu? Really, Luis Enrique?

Tom Wright: Armchair fans wrote Juve off when this draw was made; anyone who's followed them this season didn't. This is why. Gladiators.

Matthew George: Don't write off Barcelona just yet. With MSN and an extra man on field, anything is possible.

Buffon's time?

Juventus 3-0 Barcelona

Football needs Gianluigi Buffon to be a Champions League winner before he retires.

His save in the first half was outstanding.

Do sides fear Barcelona anymore? They no longer appear to have the fear factor.

Juventus looked, and played, like they believed they would win this game from the outset.

'Done and dusted'

Juventus 3-0 Barcelona

Spanish football writer Andy West: "Barca are done and dusted this time. Juventus will be a very different proposition to PSG."

Andrew Reyers: Always look on the positive side of life. This time round, Barca have improved, only a 3 goal deficit to make up.

Michael Reid: Barcelona biggest downfall? No manager having the guts to sub off either of MSN when they aren't performing. Invisible tonight

Juventus players hold hands and run towards their fans to soak up the adulation.

A defiant Barcelona supporter holds up five fingers on one hand and one finger on the other, indicating that his side will win the second leg 5-1.

No chance Barcelona are putting five past this Juventus defence.

Juventus 3-0 Barcelona

All over!  Advantage Juventus.

Can Barcelona do it again? They'll have to.

Lionel Messi and Girogio Chiellini

Juventus 3-0 Barcelona

Sergi Roberto shoots from inside the box but straight at Gianluigi Buffon. That was the last chance, surely!

Juventus 3-0 Barcelona

Barcelona have lost two minutes of attacking time because Juventus have managed to get the ball down into the left corner of the visitors' half.

Time running out...

Juventus 3-0 Barcelona

The 90 minutes are up and there will be four minutes of stoppage time.

Lionel Messi

Juventus 3-0 Barcelona

Final change for Juventus as Miralem Pjanic makes way for Andrea Barzagli.

One minute of normal time remaining.

Juventus 3-0 Barcelona

... Lionel Messi hits it into the wall, Luis Suarez picks up the pieces and almost draws a foul from Giorgio Chiellini inside the box as the Juventus defender slides in to poke the ball out for a corner.

Very, very risky tackle at this stage of the game!

Juventus 3-0 Barcelona

... Lionel Messi is over this free-kick...

Juventus 3-0 Barcelona

Nervous jeers from the home fans as they do anything they can to disrupt the Barcelona players. Doesn't work though as Tomas Rincon fouls Lionel Messi about five yards outside the area.

Big chance for Barcelona...

Juventus 3-0 Barcelona

Juventus break through Gonzalo Higuain but there's no-one to support him and he runs into a group of Barcelona players.

Juventus are shutting up shop. PSG were punished when they did that at the Nou Camp.

This is going to be a tense final few minutes.

Juventus 3-0 Barcelona

There will be no hat-trick for Paulo Dybala. He's replaced by defensive midfielder Tomas Rincon.

Juventus shoring things up.

Juventus 3-0 Barcelona

Another big chance for Barcelona!

Lionel Messi crosses into the area for Samuel Umtiti. The defender is unmarked but the ball sails inches over his head.

Luis Enrique looks up to the sky in frustration. It's not been Barcelona's night.

Juventus 3-0 Barcelona

Are Juventus tiring?

Neymar is allowed to slalom through the defence but the excellent Giorgio Chiellini gets across to put in the challenge.

The defender then fist bumps Gianluigi Buffon. Stopping Barcelona scoring is as good as a goal at this stage.

Giorgio Chiellini

Juventus 3-0 Barcelona

Sami Khedira is booked for diving as Juventus tick the clock down.

Barcelona come forward again soon after as a cross runs all the way through to Neymar, who squares for Luis Suarez on the edge of the box, but he shoots over.

Time running out for Barcelona, but an away goal would make a world of difference.

Juventus 3-0 Barcelona

Juan Cuadrado, perhaps still suffering from the whack he took from Giorgio Chiellini's boot, is replaced by Mario Lemina for the closing stages.

Johnny Magrinho: Still think Juve need another couple of goals to be sure of going through. Barca may travel badly but at home they're monstrous.

Brayo: Barca waiting for Camp Nou second leg to turn tables. Don't see that happening though

Juventus 3-0 Barcelona

Should Barcelona have a penalty? Neymar, on the edge of the box, shapes to shoot and Giorgio Chiellini slides in to block it. The Juventus defender has his arm up to his face and Neymar's shot hits it. Nothing given.

The aftermath of that shot was Juan Cuadrado getting Chiellini's boot in a very delicate area. Treatment needed.

Barcelona penalty appeal

Juventus 3-0 Barcelona

Ooh, this would have made things interesting.

Lionel Messi drops his shoulder and races towards the box before finding Luis Suarez. He tries to place a shot inside the far post... just wide.

There's really nothing wrong with Barcelona's attack tonight. They've had chances.

Juventus 3-0 Barcelona

Mario Mandzukic picks up a yellow for a foul. The Juventus players are getting physical with the Barcelona players, unsettling them and not giving them the chance to get a flow going.

A familiar face

Deja vu?

Not only is this game treading a similar path to the first leg in the last-16 tie, but the referee is also the same.

Tonight's official is Szymon Marciniak, who was the man in the middle for the first-leg tie with PSG, which Barcelona lost 4-0.

Juventus 2-0 Barcelona

Thing is, as bad as Barcelona have been, you just cannot rule them out after what happened in the last tie.

However, I don't fancy this Juventus defence to wilt as much as PSG's did in Barcelona. Another goal for the Italians and it might be too much for Barcelona.

Juventus add a third

Juventus 3-0 Barcelona

A repeat of what happened in Paris on the cards?

Barcelona's poor defending proves their undoing once again as Giorgio Chiellini brushes off Javier Mascherano to power home a header from a corner.

Giorgio Chiellini

GOAL - Juventus 3-0 Barcelona

Girogio Chiellini

Girorgio Chiellini thumps in a header. Barcelona in trouble.

Juventus 2-0 Barcelona

Oh my, Barcelona's defence is caught napping again as Dani Alves plays a ball over the top but Gonzalo Higuain takes too long and his shot at point blank is saved.
