Koeman doing a good job - Moyes

Everton 1-0 Sunderland

Neither the fortunes of David Moyes nor Everton have reached quite the same heights since their relationship ended a few years ago.

But the Scot returns to Goodison Park today believing the Toffees are on the right track, although still a way behind, to replicating his own feats during an 11-year reign.

"I think Koeman is doing a good job. Everton want to compete with the top clubs but I still think there's a bit to do to break into it," says Moyes, who returns for only the second time.

"We were fortunate in that we did break into it when we got into the Champions League, so maybe looking back it just shows you what level of achievement that actually was."
