Reaction

FT: Norwich 1-1 Ipswich

Ipswich goalkeeper Bartosz Bialkowski tells Sky Sports: "I'm disappointed with the goal, I should have done better. But it's a point away from home at Norwich and it means so much for the fans and for us."

Norwich captain Russell Martin: "It's disappointing when you dominate a game to not win it. We've had lots of chances and their goalkeeper has made lots of saves. There are 12 games to go and every one is huge."

FULL-TIME: Norwich 1-1 Ipswich

Ipswich's wait for victory in the East Anglian derby goes on, but they'll be the happier of the two sides as Norwich's play-off hopes suffer another blow.

The Canaries are still six points outside the play-off spots.

Norwich 1-1 Ipswich

Jacob Murphy carries the ball into the Ipswich box, but he's seen off by a wall of defenders.

Into the last minute now - can anyone find a winning goal?

Norwich 1-1 Ipswich

Alex Pritchard's delivery is a good one, but substitute Timm Klose can't direct his volley on target and Ipswich survive.

Norwich 1-1 Ipswich

There will be five minutes of added time.

Norwich win another corner as Ipswich are forced to head behind from Josh Murphy's cross.

Norwich 1-1 Ipswich

Norwich left-back Mitchell Dijks tries his luck with a low effort from a long way out, the shot resulting in a comfortable save for Bartosz Bialkowski.

Ipswich have created very few chances today, but they've been very effective in defence to blunt Norwich's attacking threat.

Norwich 1-1 Ipswich

Josh Murphy tries to wriggle free of Ipswich defender Jordan Spence, who is shown a yellow card as he pulls the Norwich winger back.

Alex Prtichard takes the free-kick from the left, but Christophe Berra heads it away.

Norwich will be six points below the top six if they fail to find a winner.

Norwich 1-1 Ipswich

Good save from Bartosz Bialkowski!

Alex Pritchard shoots low towards the Ipswich goal, but the goalkeeper reaches down to his right to push the ball behind.

Norwich 1-1 Ipswich

Another Norwich change for the last 10 minutes, Alex Pritchard coming on for veteran midfielder Wes Hoolahan.

The Canaries are seeing more of the ball and spending plenty of time in the Ipswich half, though they haven't created any more clear chances since Alex Tettey's shot a few minutes ago.

Norwich 1-1 Ipswich

Alex Tettey sees an effort blocked from the edge of the box before unleashing a thunderbolt of a second effort.

The ball is flying towards goal, but it's just too close to Bartosz Bialkowski, who parries the shot away with his right hand.

Josh Murphy is on for Norwich as they try to complete a comeback.

Norwich 1-1 Ipswich

Mitchell Dijks stands a cross up for Cameron Jerome to attack, but the Norwich striker's header rolls harmlessly wide.

Ipswich have made their second change of the game, Kieffer Moore replacing Freddie Sears up front.

Norwich 1-1 Ipswich

That goal came from Norwich's first real attack since falling behind.

The hosts are pressing forward again here, but they are fast running out of time to pick up a crucial three points.

GOAL: Norwich 1-1 Ipswich

Jacob Murphy

Bartosz Bialkowski has had a good game, but the Ipswich keeper will want to forget about this.

Jacob Murphy fires a low shot towards the bottom corner of the Ipswich goal, and Bialkowski dives to stop it, only to see the ball go under his outstretched left arm.

Norwich are level, and there's still 20 minutes for either team to find a winner.

Norwich 0-1 Ipswich

Jordan Spence wins Ipswich a free-kick deep inside the Norwich half near the right touchline.

The delivery is easily cleared, but Norwich are clearly shaken.

GOAL: Norwich 0-1 Ipswich

Jonas Knudsen

Out of nowhere, Ipswich are ahead!

It's a lovely cross from Jordan Spence from the Ipswich right, drifting all the way across the box for Jonas Knudsen  to power in a header across goal at the back post.

They've only had one shot on target, but they've made it count.

Norwich 0-0 Ipswich

Norwich should be in front.

A free-kick from the right is met by Cameron Jerome, six yards out, but he plants his header straight at the Ipswich keeper.

Jerome has missed a couple of chances today.

Norwich 0-0 Ipswich

It's Ipswich who make the first change of the game.

Tommy Smith is the man brought into the fray, with Myles Kenlock withdrawn.

The Tractor Boys launch a rare attack, but Freddie Sears can't pick anyone out with his cross from the right.

Norwich 0-0 Ipswich

How long until Alex Neil turns to his substitutes' bench for inspiration?

Ipswich will be the happier of the teams if it stays goalless at full-time, as Norwich would stay six points outside the play-off places.

Norwich 0-0 Ipswich

Bartosz Bialkowski
Rex Features

This is a great save from Bartosz Bialkowski to keep Ipswich on level terms.

Norwich swing a free-kick in from the right, and Bialkowski has to spring low to his right to palm away Steven Naismith's flicked header.

Norwich goal disallowed

Norwich 0-0 Ipswich

Norwich think they've scored, but the whistle has gone.

Mitchell Dijks leaps and puts the ball in the back of the net from a corner, but the referee says it came off his hand.

It looks like the right decision to me.

Back under way

Norwich 0-0 Ipswich

Ipswich get the second half started.

Both teams stick with the same 11 players that played the opening 45 minutes.

The second half approaches

HT: Norwich 0-0 Ipswich

After a first-half of precious little attacking quality, might we see a change made by either side for the second half?

Kick-off is only a couple of minutes away.

HALF-TIME: Norwich 0-0 Ipswich

And that is half-time.

Ipswich felt they should have had a penalty early in the half when David McGoldrick appeared to be hauled to the ground, while Norwich came closest to scoring when Jonas Knudsen almost turned into his own goal.

It hasn't been a high-quality game so far you'd have to say, as neither side have managed a shot on target in the first 45 minutes.

Norwich 0-0 Ipswich

There's going to be one minute of added time.

It's very, very quiet at Carrow Road.

Norwich 0-0 Ipswich

Having just said that they hadn't taken a shot all game, Ipswich do just that.

It's not an effort that will live long in the memory though, with David McGoldrick firing a long way off target with his left foot.

Norwich 0-0 Ipswich

Mick McCarthy
Rex Features

Norwich are increasingly threatening, with Ipswich looking a bit rattled by the Canaries' direct style of play.

At the other end, the Tractor Boys have not yet managed to get a single shot away.

Plenty for Mick McCarthy to ponder as the game approaches half-time.

Norwich 0-0 Ipswich

Shouts for handball from Norwich as Cameron Jerome's header is blocked away by a defender, but it clearly came off the Ipswich man's stomach.

After a quiet spell in the game, Norwich are ending the half on top.

Norwich 0-0 Ipswich

Christophe Berra
Rex Features

A lack of communication between Christophe Berra and Bartosz Bialkowski nearly presents Norwich with the opener.

Berra doesn't see Bialkowski charging off his line as he tries to head a long ball back to his keeper, and Cameron Jerome sees an open goal ahead of him.

Fortunately for Berra, his header had enough power on it to force Jerome to shoot from an almost impossible angle, the ball going safely behind.

Norwich 0-0 Ipswich

Steven Naismith finds Mitchell Dijks inside the Ipswich box, and the left-back pulls the ball back for Wes Hoolahan.

The midfielder has plenty of time and space to shoot from the edge of the box, but sends the ball sailing high and wide.

Norwich 0-0 Ipswich

There's not a huge amount happening as the teams approach the half-hour mark.

Norwich are seeing a bit more of the ball, but they're struggling to break down a well-drilled Ipswich defence.

Norwich 0-0 Ipswich

Ipswich win a free-kick just inside the Norwich half as Jonny Howson brings down David McGoldrick.

Norwich are quickly back on the attack though, only to see Howson send a cross straight into the arms of a grateful Bartosz Bialkowski.

Norwich 0-0 Ipswich

Norwich v Ipswich

Cameron Jerome is almost in behind once again, but Ivo Pinto's pass is just too strong for him to latch onto.

Jacob Murphy tries to play Jerome in a few moments later, only for an Ipswich centre-half to stretch out and touch the ball away.

Norwich are well on top at the moment.

Paul Stevenson: How will we ever cut out grappling in the box when referees are too scared to give penalties?

Norwich 0-0 Ipswich

So close for Norwich!

Mitchell Dijks does brilliantly to cut inside from left-back and deliver a low cross into the six-yard box.

It almost ends in disaster for Ipswich as Jonas Knudsen diverts the ball towards his own goal, but Bartosz Bialkowski claws it over the bar.

Ipswich save
Rex Features

Norwich 0-0 Ipswich

A lovely through ball sets Cameron Jerome away and behind the Ipswich defence, but Christophe Berra recovers to put the ball behind for a corner.

Jerome gets a header away from the corner, though he can't test keeper Bartosz Bialkowski.

Norwich have probably shaded the first 15 minutes, but there's not too much in it.
