And if there's no Wayne Shaw, there's no party, so I'm out of here.

Sutton's dream FA Cup run is over and Arsenal have avoided humiliation...for now.

Lincoln up next.

Goodnight.

Wayne Shaw
BBC

I was hopeful that we'd get an interview with Wayne Shaw. So far, no dice.

Ah, this is a lovely touch. Theo Walcott is in the Sutton dressing room, signing shirts for the home players. Classy.

Oddly, we're still getting picture from inside the Sutton dressing room. Someone has just arrived with a box of beers.

Just joining us? Where on earth have you been? You've missed Wayne Shaw eating a pie. Here are the other highlights...

Sutton's reserve keeper being in the bar at half-time & eating a pie on the bench in the second half is the stuff of FA Cup legend - forget the quarter finals just give Wayne Shaw the Cup now!

Chris in Manchester

12 - Arsenal have won 10 and lost none of their last 12 FA Cup matches against non-league sides (D2). Gulf.

Right here, right now, I'm starting the campaign to get Wayne Shaw a spot on this year's Strictly.

'I didn't really enjoy that'

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger, speaking to BBC Sport: "We did the job. It is very different I must say on this kind of pitch. It was not an easy game at all. We have to give them credit because every error we made they took advantage of on this pitch. They played very well.

"It is basically division five and when I arrived here 20 years ago in division five they were not as fit physically as they were today. They were organised and had a huge desire. If we were not mentally prepared we would not have gone through today.

"I don't really enjoy tonight because we absolutely had to do the job and it is tricky. It is important for the confidence of the players. At Bayern we were 1-1 and then  in the second half it all went wrong so at half time today at 1-0 up it was not finished."

Josh Wilde Every Sutton player did themselves proud. Credit to manager Paul Doswell, so gracious in defeat & never stopped smiling.

Craig Smith Beautiful game at its best tonight, well done Sutton United, enjoy the moment.

Ahmed Ashour We may have won the game but Sutton carried the heart of the nation and didn't disappoint.

Martin Keown

Former Arsenal defender on BBC One

You wonder, looking at Roarie Deacon if the game has failed him. He should be playing at a higher level, he has great quality with both feet and he was really unlucky with that shot that hit the bar.

Alan Shearer

Ex-England captain on BBC One

It has been one heck of a run that started off in October. Brilliant. There were some very, very positive performances out there. The manager he said he was absolutely proud of them and that is absolutely right.

Sutton manager Paul Doswell: "The support we had has been amazing. Everyone here is a volunteer, remember that. We're not a League Two club in non-league, we're a traditional non-league club.

"Lincoln and Sutton have done our competition very proud. Best wishes to Danny and Nicky at Lincoln. Go and have your day in the sun like we have."

Sutton forward Roarie Deacon: "Arsenal have world class players, thankfully a few of them were out there against us and that is great for us."

Sutton manager Paul Doswell: "It was a dream to watch my team play against Arsenal. The quality of the team they put out showed what's at stake. I'm very very proud.

"We were disappointed not to get a goal for the supporters here but the overriding emotion is so proud.

"This was our cup final and these players will go down in history at the end of the day."

Sutton 0-2 Arsenal

Paul Doswell and Roarie Deacon are being interviewed on the pitch. Fans crowd around, lots on the phone, presumably telling someone that they are on the telly.

FULL-TIME

Sutton 0-2 Arsenal

There's no stunning shock, but Sutton can be proud of their efforts. Arsenal do their job and book a quarter-final tie with Lincoln. Some fans are on the pitch. It's been quite a night.

Sutton can hold their heads very very high. They're a true credit to themselves with how they've performed.

MAN OF THE MATCH

Sutton 0-2 Arsenal

TV pundit Graeme le Saux has named Roarie Deacon as MOTM. Quite right, too. He's been electric.

Ooohhh, Alexis Sanchez almost free in the Arsenal box. Couldn't control it. The 90 nearly up. Arsenal corner. The Sutton backline needs oxygen.

Sutton 0-2 Arsenal

Arsenal deal with it and break, Alexis Sanchez's luminous boots working rapidly. Matt le Tissier and Lawrie McMenemy watch on. Wayne Shaw has a word with Sutton boss Paul Doswell. Home defender Simon Downer is down with cramp. That'll be back when he's in bed later...

TV have shown slow-motion pictures of Wayne Shaw eating his pie. He nearly ate his own fingers. The game is fizzling out now.

Sutton's final change. Disappointingly, it's not Wayne Shaw coming on, but striker Dan Fitchett. Maxime Biamou is off.

Roarie Deacon is MOTM for my money. Here he is rattling the bar.

Craig Smith So stupid putting Sanchez on. If he gets injured Arsenal's season is over.

Chris Swann Bringing Sanchez on, for no reason at all, cue injury.

Ian Funnell Why risk Sanchez for 20 mins in a game we are comfortably winning. Any injury and then it looks stupid.

Alexis Sanchez

Sutton 0-2 Arsenal

The Arsenal fans are singing 'give it to Sanchez'. I'd quite like to know if the Sutton defence are pleased they are getting the chance to play against him, or would rather he stayed sitting in his tracksuit.

SUBSTITUTION

Sutton 0-2 Arsenal

Is this cruel? Alexis Sanchez is coming on, replacing Jeff Reine-Adelaide. Alex Iwobi also off, replaced by Ainsley Maitland-Niles. So many double-barreled names.

Phil McNulty

BBC Sport chief football writer at Gander Green Lane

Sutton may be going out of the FA Cup but they are refusing to go quietly and are still trying their best to put Arsenal under pressure.

The result, predictably, is going against them but Sutton United have done themselves huge credit tonight.

Sutton 0-2 Arsenal

It's been a cracking second half. Sutton have had their chances, but it's Arsenal that got the second goal...

Another Sutton change. Adam May applauds the fans and is replaced by Bradley Hudson-Odoi. As I said, he's a unit.

Craig Smith I know it's difficult conditions to play in but the fact Arsenal are struggling defensively with a strong squad is worrying.

Luke C'mon Wenger bring on Sanchez. The Sutton players want him, the Sutton fans want him and Sanchez wants it!

Ian Funnell We might be winning but it's not been totally convincing

Sutton 0-2 Arsenal

Should be three! Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain goes past a tiring Sutton defence like they aren't there. Red shirts line up in the middle, be he can't find any of them. Here's the Sutton change. Dean Beckwith off, Dan Spence, the teaching assistant, is on.

Sutton 0-2 Arsenal

Bradley Hudson-Odoi is getting ready to come on for Sutton. He's a winger, built like a fridge.

HITS THE WOODWORK

Sutton 0-2 Arsenal

Off the bar! It's that man Roarie Deacon again! It's not a stretch to say he's been the best player on the pitch. 25 yards out, no backlift, pinging off the woodwork with David Ospina beaten. Incredible hit.
