...Villarreal v Real Madrid.

Will Real win to return to the top of La Liga?

Be back at 19:30 GMT.

What a fine Messi!

Atletico Madrid 1-2 Barcelona

Lionel Messi has scored 22 goals in 20 La Liga games against Atletico.

That is best described as ridiculous.

Waiting for Godin

Atletico Madrid 1-2 Barcelona

Atletico defender Diego Godin has scored two goals against Barcelona in La Liga - the first came in 2014 which resulted in his side being crowned league champions.

Today's goal will be regarded as less memorable in the future.

Stats coming up

Atletico Madrid 1-2 Barcelona

We've got some great stats to impress/annoy your friends with...

Atletico Madrid 1-2 Barcelona

Lionel Messi is the Barca hero for the five millionth time.

Luis Enrique's side move to the top of La Liga.

They looked a shambles in the first 15 minutes of the match.

Lionel Messi scores winner

Atletico Madrid 1-2 Barcelona

Not long left.

Atletico Madrid 1-2 Barcelona

We have four minutes of it.

Atletico almost pinch an equaliser but Gerard Pique is on hand to hook the ball clear with sub Fernando Torres set to pounce from three yards out.

GOAL - Atletico Madrid 1-2 Barcelona

Lionel Messi

Yup. Him.

Again, not produced one of his most memorable displays but comes up with the goods once more.

This time Samuel Umtiti finds himself in the box and lays the ball to Luiz Suarez.

The Uruguyan, in turn, plays the ball to Lionel Messi. The Argentine's initial shot is blocked by Stefan Savic, but the loose ball lands at the feet of the diminutive forward who pokes in.

This would be an amazing win for Luis Enrique's men.

It's a yellow for Lionel Messi - for being gobby?

Sixth yellow of the game.

It comes to nothing.

Atletico Madrid 1-1 Barcelona

Barca have a free-kick about 30 yards out but far left of centre after Neymar is fouled.

Atletico Madrid 1-1 Barcelona

Nope. Jeremy Mathieu is not OK. He's coming off to be replaced by Lucas Digne.

Atletico Madrid 1-1 Barcelona

Gabi is shown a yellow card for a high tackle on Barcelona sub Ivan Rakitic and then sub Angel Correa goes into the book for scything down Barca defender Jeremy Mathieu.

The defender looks in trouble, but after a bit of treatment he's up and about.

GOAL - Atletico Madrid 1-1 Barcelona

Diego Godin

What a brilliant delivery by Koke.

The Spaniard whips in a free-kick from the left and finds the head of Diego Godin, who with the faintest of flicks beats keeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen.

An excellent ball and header.

GOAL - Atletico Madrid 0-1 Barcelona

I was just saying to my colleague, "imagine if Rafinha scored?"

The midfielder has not really been noticeable at the Vicente but pops up to slot the ball in past the reach of Jan Oblak after Luis Suarez's effort ricochets into his path.

A bit of a surprise this.

Rafinha celebrates

Atletico Madrid 0-0 Barcelona

Barca's defence look less fragile and nervy.

Mr.Shakira puts in a good block to prevent Kevin Gameiro's shot for snapping Marc-Andre ter Stegen's hands.

Whenever wherever!

Atletico Madrid 0-0 Barcelona

Atletico's Saul goes into the book for a foul on Neymar. It gets a little heated between the players but the tension is diffused by ref Antonio Miguel Mateu Lahoz.

Atletico Madrid 0-0 Barcelona

Atletico test Barca's defence again.

This time a ball from the right is lofted into the area and finds defender Diego Godin who can only nod the ball over the bar.

The delivery didn't have any power on it, so it was a tough ask for Godin to test the Barca keeper.

Atletico Madrid 0-0 Barcelona

A yellow for Sergio Busquets - no stranger to a card - for taking out Antoine Griezmann who was looking to set Kevin Gameiro free.

Easy decision.

Atletico Madrid 0-0 Barcelona

Yannick Carrasco feeds Antoine Griezmann on the left side of the area. The Frenchman's low drive is saved at the near post by Barca keeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen. Simple stop.

Moments later Gabi has a pop from 20 yards, but it is tame and easily saved by the German.

Atletico Madrid 0-0 Barcelona

That was rotten pal!

Great Barca inter-play sees Lionel Messi play in Luis Suarez on the left of the area.

Needing only to clip his shot past the on-rushing Jan Oblak, the ex-Liverpool man slices his effort a few feet wide of the keeper's far post.

Inexplicable really.

Kyle: Brilliant performance from Atleti but get the feeling they will rue those missed chances. Clear pen for Barca too.

Atletico Madrid 0-0 Barcelona

We are back under way at the Vicente.

Feyenoord strengthen grip at top

Feyenoord 2-1 PSV

Will they win their first league title since 1999?

Feyenoord saw off one of their title rivals as goals from Jens Toornstra and Jan-Arie van der Heijden helped Giovanni van Bronkhorst's side beat PSV Eindhoven.

Goalline technology was needed to confirm that Der Heijden's 82nd minute effort had crossed the line after it appeared keeper Jeroen Zoet had kept the ball out.

Feyenoord have 60 points - five more than Ajax and eight more than PSV.

Atletico Madrid 0-0 Barcelona

Atletico began brightly and went close on a couple of occasions before Barca got back into the game.

Strangely, the closest we got to a goal was when Filipe Luis hit the post with a clearance.

Atletico Madrid 0-0 Barcelona

Not a great save, but just very intelligent keeping.

The corner is played in from the right and finds the head of Barca defender Gerard Pique who sends the ball hurtling towards goal.

However, the ball finds keeper Jan Oblak, who is well positioned to grab the ball. He falls to ground as if he is going through some sort of training ground routine.

Atletico Madrid 0-0 Barcelona

We only have about three minutes and some stoppage until half-time.

It only started about 10 minutes ago didn't it?Barcelona have a corner. They are back in this match.

John McEnerney: Not a day to leave one of the best midfielders around on the bench, Rakitic left out again what's Enrique thinking! Home win!

Atletico Madrid 0-0 Barcelona

There have been a few decent saves already and Jan Oblak produces another one.

Lionel Messi takes charge of the free-kick which is heading for the keeper's top-left corner and forces a stunning one-handed stop from the Slovenian.

Atletico Madrid 0-0 Barcelona

Atletico break.

Filipe Luis is played down the left by Yannick Carrasco, all the ex-Chelsea defender has to do is play the ball square for the fast-arriving Kevin Gameiro.

But out comes Barca keeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen to grab the ball in front of the Frenchman.

At the other end, Luis Suarez cuts in from the left and launches a firecracker of a shot that rockets over Jan Oblak's bar.

He, perhaps, should have done better.

Anyway, it's not a free-kick to Barca - about 20 yards out and left of central.

Lionel Messi and Koke

Screwball scramble in the area

Atletico Madrid 0-0 Barcelona

You know how people say "if that was Lionel Messi..." when somebody inferior scores a great goal, well in this case it's "if that was League Two...".

So Neymar pokes the ball into the path of Lionel Messi in the area. His low shot is saved low by Jan Oblak.

An almighty scrmable ensues as Barca try to score and Atletico try to clear.

Eventually. Atletico defender Filipe Luis inadvertently kicks the ball against his own post and Luis Suarez heads in. But the ref blows, seemingly for an earlier Suarez handball.

Luis Suarez

Atletico Madrid 0-0 Barcelona

What a beautiful 25-yard rising strike from Antoine Griezmann, but Marc-Andre ter Stegen prevents it from bursting the net by leaping up and sticking out his big hand.

In all fairness, it was 'one for the cameras'. I would have saved it, I reckon.

Atletico Madrid 0-0 Barcelona

What is Sergio Busquets doing? He is almost caught by Kevin Gameiro as he looked to 'play the Barca way' out of defence.

Not a good idea Sergio - not at this moment in time. Ask Manchester City's John Stones.

Sorry John.

How's Neymar doing?

Atletico Madrid 0-0 Barcelona

Does anyone else feel sorry for Neymar? OK, one or two.

Brazil's Olympic hero has only scored one goal in the last seven games.

Today, he appears to be playing a deeper role on the left.

Earlier, he tried to drill his way into the Atletico area with a driving run down the wing, but he was eventually stopped at the edge of the box.

Barca's celebrated attacking trio have been kept quiet so far, unlike the defence.

Atletico Madrid 0-0 Barcelona

Barca defender Samuel Umtiti sticks out his boot to block Antoine Griezmann's low drive - keeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen probably had it covered at his near post.

That chance came moments after Gabi volleyed straight at the German keeper.

Atletico are applying immense pressure on the opposition's defence.

Atletico Madrid 0-0 Barcelona appropriate word to throw out at this point.

Both sets of players are snapping at the heels of each other.

Ref Antonio Miguel Mateu Lahoz will be blowing that whistle of his rather frequently this Spanish afternoon.

Barca's first effort

Atletico Madrid 0-0 Barcelona

A first strike in anger from Lionel Messi.

Luis Suarez appears to be pulled back by defender Stefan Savic but he stays on his feet and plays the ball to Lionel Messi. The little Argentine shrugs off a challenge and fires a fierce effort over the bar from 18 yards.

It's going to be a heck of a battle between Barca's front three and Atletico's defence.
