Hasta luego!

Real Madrid 3-3 Las Palmas

Well, thanks for trying to keep up with the events of these past four hours.

Eventful eh?

Until the weekend - if you can stand the drama.

Real Madrid 3-3 Las Palmas

It's all over.

Bale sent off.

Las Palmas were 3-1 up.

Ronaldo scores twice.

Real draw 3-3.

All that means is that Barcelona remain top of La Liga by a point after their 6-1 win over Sporting Gijon earlier.

Oh and then the Catalan club announced coach Luis Enrique was leaving at the end of the season.

The End.

Bale reacts to being sent off

Real Madrid 3-3 Las Palmas

They were 2-0 down against Villarreal on Sunday and fought back to win.

They were 3-1 down here and are now 3-3.

First the penalty. It took a while to be given.

Javi Castellano was judged to have hanballed although he didn't seem to have much time to move his hands out of the way as the ball was driven in by James Rodriguez.

The ref wasn't going to give it until the linesman raised his flag.

Cristiano Ronaldo stepped up to fire in. He then collected the ball and ran back to the centre-spot.

Moments later, the world player of the year head in after a great delivery from the right.

It's 3-3.

The Bernabeu can scarcely believe what it has seen tonight.

Ronaldo scores

GOAL - Real Madrid 3-3 Las Palmas

Cristiano Ronaldo

Yup. They've done it again.

Real Madrid 1-3 Las Palmas

David Simon blocks efforts from Karim Benzema and then Cristiano Ronaldo in succession.

Very good defending.

Moments later, keeper Jari Varas keeps out a Karim Benzema effort.

Oh hang on...

Cristiano Ronaldo

Real Madrid 1-3 Las Palmas

Las Palmas' Jese has been brilliant in attack.

On this occasion he forces a low save from Keylor Navas with the rasping low angled drive.

Cristiano Ronaldo goes into the book for seemingly diving in the Las Palmas area as a free-kick is played in.

It's just not his night.

Real Madrid 1-3 Las Palmas

The home side look very likely to concede again.

What a game!

Seth Gogo Egoeh: I don't see how Zidane will keep his job if they don't win the league this season. But that was daft from Bale. Crazy stuff!

Do you want to give Zizou his P45 too?

Real Madrid 1-3 Las Palmas

.....and the Frenchman arrives to fire Lucas Vazquez's low square ball over the bar from 10 yards out.

He should have scored.

Real Madrid 1-3 Las Palmas

Karim Benzema and Luka Modric are on by the way.

Real Madrid 1-3 Las Palmas

Cristiano Ronaldo plays in Alvaro Morata, whose dancing feet sees him beat two defenders before slotting in.

But the ref whistles.

What for Fernandez Borbalan?

It seems either for a Ronaldo foul or offside.

This match!

Ronaldo reacts

Real Madrid 1-3 Las Palmas

"My work here is done," says goalscorer Kevin-Prince Boateng as he strides to the touchline and is replaced by Mateo Garcia.

Real Madrid 1-3 Las Palmas

Las Palmas have not won away from home since the opening weekend of the season.

Real Madrid 1-3 Las Palmas

Right. Not much time to rest typing fingers.

Sergio Ramos crashes a shot against the bar from close range.

The Gran Canarians then break - Jese is played in and his bending shot is pushed away by Keylor Navas.

Extraordinary. That was nearly number four.

What is happening?!

Real Madrid 1-3 Las Palmas

Luis Enrique fancy changing your mind?

Kevin-Prince Boateng, who enjoys the spotlight, chases a long ball with Marcelo.

For some inexplicable reason keeper Keylor Navas comes out of his goal misses the ball allowing the ex-Tottenham and Portsmouth man to slot in.

Real Madrid 1-2 Las Palmas

Terrible penalty.

Jonathan Viera - you know, the guy who was involved in the Gareth Bale sending off - produces a tame kick from the spot down the centre.

Keeper Keylor Navas is already diving and manages to get his trailing foot to the effort but hooks the ball high into the roof rather than away from his goal.

Las Palmas have lost their previous four. Just saying.

Viera scores

Real Madrid 1-1 Las Palmas

What was he doing?

For some reason, Gareth Bale has a couple of nibbles at Viera's ankles as the Las Palmas man tries to get away from him.

Viera reacts by pushing Bale before the ex-Tottenham man uses great force to shove his opponent. Ref Fernandez Borbalan shows him a straight red. No other choice really.

Strange behaviour from the Welshman.

Anyway, Real are down to 10.

Bale argues with the referee

Real Madrid 1-1 Las Palmas

Red for the Welshman.

Real Madrid 1-1 Las Palmas

We are back under way at the Bernabeu.

Real Madrid 1-1 Las Palmas

Real players are talking among themselves in the tunnel.

I'm trying to lip read..

Morata: "I knew he'd go. He saw the Leicester job come up..."

Ramos: "Yeah, maybe. I think Lee Johnson might be teetering at Bristol City though."

Enrique to leave Barcelona

I hope it doesn't take the Barcelona players more than two days to show their appreciation for Luis Enrique...

Nikul 11: He wants to leave while having his reputation intact. Understandable. Wouldn't be surprised if Barca go slightly left-field.

Matt Tallis: Highly unlikely but would be great to see Conte go to Barca, they only need improving defensively

Who is set for (arguably) the biggest job in world football?

Enrique to leave Barcelona

More from Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu:

Luis Enrique has given us successes, but still can bring us more. The players are motivated to do it.

If things remain as they are at the Bernabeu, Barca will lead La Liga by a point from Real going into the weekend, although Los Blancos will still have a game in hand.

It's worth bearing in mind that the Catalan giants are on an 18-match unbeaten streak in La Liga.

Tough lot to please eh?

Real Madrid 1-1 Las Palmas

It promised an avalanche of goals following those early goals, but it hasn't materialised.

Just as well because of that breaking news...

Real Madrid"s Alvaro Morata (R) and Las Palmas" goalkeeper Javier Varas

Real Madrid 1-1 Las Palmas

Mauricio Lemos - promising 22-year-old Uruguayan defender - produces a great challenge to put off Alvaro Morata from tucking in Cristiano Ronaldo's low square ball from the right.

Enrique to leave Barcelona

The Barcelona president has spoken:

We accept the decision of Luis Enrique - he has been a great coach.

Enrique to leave Barcelona

Barcelona 6-1 Sporting Gijon

So earlier, Barcelona produced a superb display to defeat Sporting Gijon 6-1. It followed a great 2-1 win at Atletico at the weekend.

So Enrique announcing he would be leaving didn't seem to be on the cards.

Does the news come as a surprise, or was it a matter of when and not if?
