Join us again at the weekend for more live action.

What next?

We enter the quarter-final phase of the Scottish Cup at the weekend.

On Saturday, we have:

Rangers v Hamilton (12:30)

Hibernian v Ayr United (15:00)

And on Sunday it looks like this:

Celtic v St Mirren (12:30)

Aberdeen v Partick Thistle (15:00)

Only one Premiership game on Saturday, with Kilmarnock taking on Motherwell at Rugby Park.

'Poorest Hibs have played all season'

FT: St Mirren 2-0 Hibernian

"The better team won, the hungrier team won. We have to accept it and move on.

"All the 50-50s, second balls, the nuts and bolts of the game, went St Mirren's way.

"We are giving other teams encouragement and we have to get back to where we were.

"That's the poorest we've played this season. We didn't look ready for the fight but credit to St Mirren, they were excellent."

Hibs boss Neil Lennon
Lennon's side lost for just the third time this season in the Championship

Extebreguren injury 'looks bad'

FT: Dundee 0-1 Partick Thistle

Dundee manager Paul Hartley talking to BBC Sportsound:

"It looks a bad Achilles injury [for Julen Extebreguren], so we need to make sure he gets to hospital and we assess him, but it doesn't look good.

"I thought it was a scrappy game, I didn't think there was a lot of quality. We didn't perform they way I wanted us to perform. We didnt move the ball quickly enough, we looked laboured compared to the last two performances."

Archibald targets top-six stay

FT: Dundee 0-1 Partick Thistle

Partick Thistle manager Alan Archibald talking to BBC Sportsound:

"We worked ever so hard all over the pitch, defended from the front and I'm delighted to get the three points. [Kris Doolan and Chris Erskine] picked up some great areas, linked well with each other, and on every Dundee attack I thought we looked a threat as soon as we got the ball.

"We defended brilliantly, the three centre-backs defended crosses really well towards the end, they were outstanding.

"It gives us something to build on. It's good for the lads to look at the table and see Partick Thistle in the top six, and we want to stay there for longer this time."

McIntyre hails Staggies industry

FT: Ross County 0-1 Hearts

Ross County manager Jim McIntyre talking to BBC Sportsound:

"The boys were fantastic, we worked our socks off to a man. I spoke before the game about the importance of scoring first - something we've not done for a number of weeks - and we should have had a stonewall penalty in the first half (when Tim Chow was brought down in the Hearts box).

"It's as blatant a penalty as you'll see, and how the linesman, who is 10 yards away didn't see that, I can't understand for the life of me. Luckily for them it didn't come back to haunt us.

"Alex Schalk is a real threat - he was away home to Holland yesterday for his granddad's funeral, so it says so much for him that he's here and fighting for the cause, and it was great to see him get his goal."

County celebrate first league win of 2017

FT: Hearts 0-1 Ross County

The Staggies have given themselves some breathing room at the bottom end of the table thanks to their win at Tynecastle.

The Dingwall side are now five points better off than their Highland neighbours Inverness, who continue to prop up the Premiership.

Ross County won 1-0 at Tynecastle

'McGinn leading by example for Buddies'

FT: St Mirren 2-0 Hibernian

St Mirren manager Jack Ross talking to BBC Sportsound:

"We have played well at times without getting our rewards. Given the calibre of opposition, that's probably the best performance of my time here. We were excellent in both halves and thoroughly deserved the win.

"Stephen McGinn shouldn't be playing at Championship level but he has a real desire to drag this club forward. I played with him and he's only really here because I have personal relationship with him and his family."

Foran blasts Inverness 'lack of courage'

FT: Inverness CT 0-4 Celtic

Inverness CT manager Richie Foran talking to BBC Sportsound:

"There was a lack of belief and that's really disappointing. The whole 11 lacked courage massively.

"Off the ball we were okay, on the ball no one wanted to take responsibility.

"Celtic didn't get out of second gear. They strolled around the park and controlled the game."

Rangers revel in late winner

FT: Rangers 3-2 St Johnstone

Graeme Murty is celebrating his first Premiership win since taking over the caretaker manager's position at Ibrox

This is what it looks like to get a stoppage-time goal after throwing away a 2-0 lead...

Graeme Murty celebrates Rangers' late win

'One of most complete Celtic performance'

FT: Inverness CT 0-4 Celtic

Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers talking to BBC Sportsound:

"It was an outstanding team performance. Probably one of the most complete performances since I've been here. Hunt in packs to win the ball and then play with charisma and fluidity when we have it.

"We are a team that want to create chances and score goals. We had really aggressive pressure from the front and that's why we have kept so many clean sheets."

Patrick prevail at Dens Park

Dundee 0-1 Partick Thistle

Richard Wilson

BBC Scotland at Dens Park

Partick Thistle were the sharper side up front and the more solid in defence. They deserved this win, with Chris Erskine the most impressive attacking presence on the pitch. For Dundee, this was a frustrating night, but they did not put the visitors under enough pressure to break their resolve.

FULL-TIME Hearts 0-1 Ross County

A first win for County at Tynecastle as the 'Cathro crisis' continues at Hearts.

it's also a first league win of the year for the Staggies thanks to Alex Schalk's strike.

FULL-TIME St Mirren 2-0 Hibernian

The Buddies breathe new life into their survival fight, with Stelios Demetriou the unlikely hero.

The Cypriot full-back scored in each half for a well deserved victory which draws them to within five points of Ayr United at the wrong end of the table.

It's just a third league loss for leaders Hibernian, who were abject.

Neil Lennon's side have now gone four Championship games in a row without a win and remain seven points ahead of Dundee United, who now have a game in hand.

FULL-TIME Dundee 0-1 Partick Thistle

Partick Thistle leapfrog the hosts into sixth place with their fourth league win on the spin.

FULL-TIME Rangers 3-2 St Johnstone

Late drama at Ibrox, with Saints staging a comeback from 2-0 down and Rangers losing Rob Kiernan to a red card, only for Emerson Hyndman to fire in the winner.

That's Rangers six points behind Aberdeen in the race for second.

FULL-TIME Inverness CT 0-4 Celtic

Moussa Dembele is on 31 goals for the season after grabbing two in a powerful second-half display from the champions.

It's a 22nd consecutive league win from Brendan Rodgers, who need seven more points to secure the title.

Hearts 0-1 Ross County

The Jambos are engaged in a desperate pursuit of an equaliser at Tynecastle, peppering the County box with crosses. They have five minutes of stoppage time to snatch a leveller.

GOAL Rangers 3-2 St Johnstone

Emerson Hyndman

Rangers restore their lead in stoppage time as Emerson Hyndman cracks in a great shot on the turn just a few moments after the USA international had hit the crossbar.

Inverness CT 0-4 Celtic

Terrific acceleration from Scott Sinclair to jet away from a couple of defenders and the Celtic winger cuts an angled shot on the run just wide of the far post.

GOAL Rangers 2-2 St Johnstone

Steven Anderson

Saints get level from a corner with Steven Anderson firing beyond Wes Foderingham.

Dundee 0-1 Partick Thistle

Faissal El Bakhtaoui's acrobatic shot bounces wide moments before Dundee team-mate Marcus Haber is denied by Tomas Cerny.

Rangers 2-1 St Johnstone

Rangers substitute Joe Garner seeks to make the game safe but is narrowly off target with a curling shot.

Hearts 0-1 Ross County

A stunning save from Scott Fox preserves County's lead. Tasos Avlonitis fires in a looping volley from inside the box, but Fox tips it onto the crossbar, and County eventually scramble the ball clear.

St Mirren 2-0 Hibernian

The Buddies should be out of sight as Cammy Smith and Lewis Morgan both go close, with Hibs all over the place at the back.

Rangers 2-1 St Johnstone

The home side are down to 10 men for the final 15 minutes as Rob Kiernan is dismissed for an ugly challenge on Graham Cummins.

Dundee 0-1 Partick Thistle

Kris Doolan nets from an offside position as Dundee are again opened up by Partick Thistle.

GOAL Inverness CT 0-4 Celtic

Moussa Dembele

Moments after Craig Gordon is forced to tip over a superb dipping volley from Caley's Liam Polworth, Celtic score their fourth.  Dembele races away onto Kieran Tierney’s excellent pass and lifts it over the advancing Fon Williams for his second of the night.  That's 31 for the season, and 11 in five matches for the Frenchman.

GOAL Rangers 2-1 St Johnstone

David Wotherspoon

David Wotherspoon, just on for Danny Swanson, curls past Wes Foderingham to reduce Saints' deficit.

Caley keeper's calamity night

Inverness CT 0-3 Celtic

Pat Bonner

Former Celtic goalkeeper on BBC Radio Scotland

"That sums up Owain Fon Williams' night, getting beaten at his near post. It was a great strike, but he should be able to move his feet quickly enough to get across and cover his near post from that position."

Dundee rally

Dundee 0-1 Partick Thistle

Richard Wilson

BBC Scotland at Dens Park

The home side have been more assertive since the interval as they search for an equaliser, but their attempts to put the Partick Thistle defence under pressure have so far fallen short. Paul McGowan is their most creative player, but too much of his work is taking place in deep positions

Treble change for Dundee

Dundee 0-1 Partick Thistle

Injury enforced changes for Dundee with own-goal scorer Julen Etxabeguren withdrawn on a stretcher and Kostadin Gadzhalov sent on.

Danny Williams takes over from Craig Wighton, while Faissal El Bakhtaoui replaced the struggling Henrik Ojamaa moments ago.

GOAL Inverness CT 0-3 Celtic

Stuart Armstrong

It's not been a great night for Owain Fon Williams... This time the Inverness keeper is caught napping at a free-kick as Stuart Armstrong whips a powerful, curling effort into the unguarded near post area from out on the right.

Hearts 0-1 Ross County

County should be two goals up at Tynecastle - Alex Schalk glances a terrific cross from the right straight at Jack Hamilton, then barely a minute later he has the ball in the Hearts net. The flag is up, though, and the Jambos survive.

St Mirren 2-0 Hibernian

Hibs have been second best all night but it needs a wonderful double save from Buddies' Billy O'Brien to deny Martin Boyle and then substitute Grant Holt, with both players somehow failing to score from close range.

County in control

Hearts 0-1 Ross County

Brian McLauchlin

BBC Sport Scotland at Tynecastle

The Dingwall club are on target for only their second win against Hearts and their first ever victory at Tynecastle. The home support have gone eerily quiet and are desperate for the players to show some spark and fight but Ross County look well in control and are managing the game comfortably right now.

Hearts 0-1 Ross County

The Staggies almost double their lead from another error in the Jambos rearguard. Jack Hamilton comes flying out of his goal in pursuit of a teasing Liam Boyce cross, but the Hearts goalkeeper can't gather, and only the sliding Lennard Sowah prevents Alex Schalk from bagging a second goal.

Inverness CT 0-2 Celtic

Brilliant play from Moussa Dembele, powering his way past three Inverness defenders before releasing Scott Sinclair, who fires over with his left foot.

Moments later, Gary Mackay-Steven finds Stuart Armstrong in the box, but Owain Fon Williams does well to get down to his low side-footer.

Dundee 0-1 Partick Thistle

James Vincent belts in a shot from distance as Dundee press for parity but Tomas Cerny makes a fine block.

GOAL Hearts 0-1 Ross County

Alex Schalk

Alex Tziolis' poor clearance falls to Schalk 12 yards from goal, and the County striker lashes it past Jack Hamilton. That could be a crucial goal in what's been a very close affair so far.
