CELTIC ARE CHAMPIONS

That's all from me. Congratulations to Celtic for winning their sixth successive title.

Brendan Rodgers' men have done it in style, unbeaten in 30 games and banging in five goals away from home to seal the deal.

We'll have highlights of today's game on the BBC Sport website from midnight, while you can see the action on Sportscene (BBC Two Scotland, 18:00 BST).

Enjoy the rest of your Sunday.

Record-breaking Celtic

FT: Hearts 0-5 Celtic

Let's just have one last look at the figures behind Celtic's title triumph.

Thirty games in, they have 28 victories and two draws. Goals for 81, goals against 18.

It's a new record in terms of games to spare and there are a few other records up for grabs, including remaining unbeaten over the eight matches to come.

So, what next for these two?

Brendan Rodgers' side are at home to Partick Thistle on Wednesday, while Hearts must pick themselves up for a trip to St Johnstone on the same evening. That's a huge game in terms of who finishes fourth.

'Remarkable achievement'

FT: Hearts 0-5 Celtic

Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers talking to BBC Sportsound:

"It typifies how they've been for the majority of the season, their attitude, determination, style and intensity.

"We knew it would be tough game and to win a pressure game like that is a remarkable achievement from the players.

"We take the energy and hunger from training into games and, from a coaching perspective, that's great to see.

"The fans have been behind the team from day one. Everyone deserves a huge amount of credit, the players, staff and supporters."

Treble talk

FT: Hearts 0-5 Celtic

The players and the manager are reluctant to discuss a possible treble but that doesn't stop the rest of us.

A clean sweep this season would be just the fourth in Celtic's history.

Martin O'Neill last managed it in 2000-01, his debut campaign.

Rangers have done it seven times.

'Scoreline harsh on Hearts'

FT Hearts 0-5 Celtic

Hearts head coach Ian Cathro on BBC Sportsound:

"The game, if we talk about the first-half, was a balanced game, two teams going toe-to-toe. We saw a competitive balanced game between two teams but Celtic have players of individual quality who step up.

"The first half we showed a strong performance. It's very important that we're creating chances but we have to step up and take those chances. We're a work in progress. No way does the scoreline reflect what happened on the grass."

'Unbelievable' Celtic

FT Hearts 0-5 Celtic

Celtic hat-trick hero Scott Sinclair talking to BBC Sportsound:

"It was a performance that was unbelievable from the whole team. We've still got work to do and the season is not over yet. We keep winning and that's the mentality here - to keep going.

"We take one game at a time. We've done so well so we just have to keep going."

'One game at a time'

FT: Hearts 0-5 Celtic

Celtic captain Scott Brown talking to BBC Sportsound:

"Football-wise it's been top notch, the manager has recruited great players and brought belief to everyone. We have really pushed on this season.

"The target remains one game at a time. We've got a big game on Wednesday, so we'll go back to working hard in training."

He's just not biting on the treble or any invincibles talk...

Sinclair on song

FT: Hearts 0-5 Celtic

Scott Sinclair scored a hat-trick when Swansea City won the promotion play-off to the Premier League in 2011 and now he's done the same on the day Celtic wrapped up the title.

Nice work.

A joy to watch

Pat Bonner

They did it in style. Their finishing was magnificent today. Once they settled into this game there was no chance of Hearts winning it. The way Celtic have gone about their business from day one has been exceptional. It's been a joy to watch them this season.

Out of sight

Here's how the table looks.

The next target for Celtic is remaining unbeaten for the remaining eight league matches and then there's the small matter of a Scottish Cup semi-final with Rangers on 23 April.

FULL-TIME Hearts 0-5 Celtic

That's it. Rather muted celebrations from the Celtic players as they exchange handshakes with the beaten Hearts side.

Twenty-five points clear with eight games remaining. Celtic are champions for the sixth year running.

Into added time. Not long now.

Hearts 0-5 Celtic

Stuart Armstrong can afford a wry smile as his free kick from 22 yards flies high over the crossbar.

A big cheer for Celtic's forgotten man, Kolo Toure. The veteran defender takes over from Dedryk Boyata for the last few minutes.

Hearts 0-5 Celtic

James Forrest burns his way past Lennard Sowah and delivers another great ball into the danger zone but Gary Mackay-Steven can't get much of a touch on it.

GOAL Hearts 0-5 Celtic

Scott Sinclair (hat-trick)

Slammed high into the net. That's how to tuck away a spot-kick.

Scott Sinclair has now overtaken team-mate Moussa Dembele as the Premiership's top scorer on 18.

PENALTY

Scott Sinclair is on a hat-trick after he's brought down by Tasos Avlonitis.

Hearts 0-4 Celtic

Celtic up the tempo once more in serach of a fifth goal but are guilty of overdoing things inside the Hearts penalty area and the beleaguered hosts are able to clear.

That's the last we'll see of Isma Goncalves, who had a couple of early chances to open the scoring. On comes young Angus Beith.

The home side make a couple of changes in midfield, with Prince Buaben and Malaury Martin on, with Jamie Walker and Alexandros Tziolis probably quite glad to be trudging off.

Finishing in style

It's another wonderful finish. Brilliant feet from Roberts to bend it round into the top corner. The finishing from Celtic has been quite incredible.

'Game over'

Chris McLaughlin

Brendan Rodgers wanted this title wrapped up in style and his players are doing just that. It's game over. It's Celtic's title. Hearts, after a great start, like many other teams this  season, have quite simply been blown away.

Awesome Armstrong

Pat Bonner

Former Celtic goalkeeper on BBC Sportsound

Another fantastic finish from that man of the season. It comes form Jack Hamilton making a bad kick out. Armstrong just glides it into the corner - a brilliant finish.

GOAL Hearts 0-3 Celtic

Stuart Armstrong

Time for Celtic fans to crack open the Champagne.

Hearts keeper Jack Hamilton is weak with the ball at his feet and his poor kick starts another Celtic attack, which ends with Stuart Armstrong thundering in a shot from 20 yards. The diving Hamilton gets a touch but can't keep it out.

DISALLOWED GOAL

Hearts 0-2 Celtic

Celtic fans are celebrating as a sliding Tasos Avlonitis diverts a low James Forrest into his own net but an offside flag had gone up against Scott Sinclair, who was waiting to tap it home.

Hearts 0-2 Celtic

Not for the first time, Scott Brown is robbed in the middle of the park and Hearts have a three v three situation in attack. However, Bjorn Johnsen takes forever and when he does have a shot it flies high over the crossbar.

Hearts 0-2 Celtic

The hosts win a free kick 30 yards out in a central position but Jamie Walker's choses not to have a pop and his floated delivery is nodded away by Celtic defender Jozo Simunovic.

We're up and running again. No changes in personnel.
