It's a night Ellen White won't forget in a hurry after marking her first appearances as Lionesses captain with both goals to sink Denmark.

Has she done enough to seal a place in the starting line-up to face Scotland?

Thanks for your company. Until next time...

Denmark 1-2 England

It's off to Valencia next for the Lionesses for a training camp before catching a flight to Euro 2017.

A reminder that their first game is against Scotland in Utrecht on 19 July (19:45 BST).

FULL-TIME - Denmark 1-2 England

The Lionesses head to the Netherlands on the back of three straight wins.

Next stop...Euro 2017.

Denmark 1-2 England

This has been a highly satisfactory workout for the Lionesses. Denmark only conceded one goal in qualifying.

There's still plenty for Mark Sampson to work on and England need to improve their discipline.

SUBSTITUTION

Denmark 1-2 England

A fourth England change. Lucy Bronze is on for Fara Williams.

Denmark 1-2 England

Five minutes left. Are the Lionesses heading to Euro 2017 on back of a third straight win?

Denmark 1-2 England

This might be a friendly but Mark Sampson's celebration for Ellen White's second goal showed how important this game is to the Lionesses.

Sampson wheeled away before jumping in the air and punching the air.

SUBSTITUTIONS

Denmark 1-2 England

Moments before that goal England made a triple change.

Carly Telford has replaced Siobhan Chamberlain in goal for the closing stages while Izzy Christiansen and Nikita Parris have been replaced by Millie Bright and Jodie Taylor.

Captain fantastic strikes again!

Ellen White is having the game of her life and she has her second goal of the game after pouncing on a poor back pass, the ball hitting the crossbar before the stand-in skipper taps home.

The Lionesses are within sight of a third straight win.

Denmark 1-1 England

Are we going to see any England substitutes?

Mark Sampson has resisted the urge to turn to his bench so far.

Denmark 1-1 England

That all came about after Fara Williams gifted Denmark a free-kick in a dangerous position. England need to work on their discipline.

GOAL - Denmark 1-1 England

Pernille Harder

What a finish by Denmark's captain.

Pernille Harder curls a sublime free-kick over the England wall and past Siobhan Chamberlain into the top corner.

It's a wonderful equaliser and it is thoroughly deserved.

Denmark 0-1 England

A fourth booking for the Lionesses as Katrine Veje is sent flying by Fara Williams just outside England's area. It's presented Denmark with a decent chance from a free-kick.

Denmark 0-1 England

Ellen White is putting herself about. England's goalscorer produces a sliding challenge on Simone Boye Sorensen which almost leads to a chance.

One concern for Mark Sampson will be England's discipline. Nikita Parris has just had her name taken for standing in front of the ball after Denmark were awarded a free-kick.

Denmark 0-1 England

There are 11 names on the England bench. No sign of any changes from Mark Sampson with around half an hour to go.

Denmark 0-1 England

It's a glorious evening in the Danish capital. Plenty of sunglasses in the T-shirt crowd but the evening sunshine is not making life easy for England keeper Siobhan Chamberlain.

Denmark 0-1 England

England look comfortable despite Denmark having had twice as much possession, more shots and more corners.

Mie Jans introduces herself to her new Manchester City team-mate Nikita Parris with a meaty challenge. It ends with smiles all round.

Two changes for Denmark at the start of the second half as midfielders Maja Kildemoes and Sanne Troelsgaard Nielsen enter the action.

KICK-OFF

Denmark 0-1 England

No changes by England as the second half begins.

Can the Lionesses deliver?

.
.

This is what's facing England in the group stage at Euro 2017 in the Netherlands.

They failed to win a game at Euro 2013 but expectations have increased after their bronze finish at the World Cup in Canada two years ago.

Can Mark Sampson's side deliver at a major tournament?

Decent return

Denmark 0-1 England

.
Lionesses

Ellen White has 22 goals in 63 appearances for her country. That is what you call a decent return.

HALF-TIME

Denmark 0-1 England

So far so good for the Lionesses.

England have lived dangerously but they take the lead against the run of play as Ellen White marks her first appearance as captain with a stunner.

It's a terrific run and cross by Demi Stokes who picks out the forward whose first-time shot takes a deflection and loops beyond the keeper into the net.

Great celebrations on the England bench.

CLOSE!

Denmark 0-0 England

Another big chance for Denmark.

Frederikke Thogersen threads the ball past a couple of England players and Stine Larsen is clean through but completely loses her composure as she blazes over with Siobhan Chamberlain off her line.

That could be a very costly miss.

Denmark 0-0 England

Around five minutes to half-time and we're still awaiting the first serious attempt on target. That just about sums this friendly up.

CLOSE!

Denmark 0-0 England

England breathe a sigh of relief as they escape after Simone Boye Sorensen wastefully heads wide from inside the six-yard area after Pernille Harder's corner. Make no mistake, that should have been 1-0.

Denmark 0-0 England

A crunching challenge by Line Jensen on the halfway line leaves England skipper Ellen White flat out wincing in pain. That was a no-nonsense challenge.

There are some worried looks on the England bench but White is able to climb to her feet after a short delay.

Denmark 0-0 England

Mark Sampson will be fairly happy with what he has seen so far but there is certainly room for improvement. There's little to choose between the two sides but England are struggling to carve open the Danish defence.

Denmark 0-0 England

Great pace by Nikita Parris as she powers her way into the Danish penalty area but she is denied a goal as her goal-bound effort is blocked by a red shirt. England are beginning to stir.

Denmark 0-0 England

Sublime footwork by Stine Larsen as she glides past a couple of England players to start another Denmark attack. The Danes have the ball in the back of the England net but it is disallowed for a foul.

Denmark 0-0 England

Denmark have dominated possession but Casey Stoney and Laura Bassett are doing a fine job at the heart of the defence.

Siobhan Chamberlain has yet to make a save in front of a noisy crowd which has come to life now the sun has made an appearance.

One for the album

Denmark 0-0 England

.

Denmark 0-0 England

There's no Fran Kirby on the England bench tonight as she's got tonsillitis and has not travelled to the stadium.

Denmark 0-0 England

That's more like it from England.

Fara Williams whips a free-kick deep into the Denmark box but it's a tad too much for Ellen White who is just unable to connect.

Any sort of a touch and that would have been 1-0.

Denmark 0-0 England

Decent defending by Demi Stokes as she does enough to stop Pernille Harder from getting a shot away inside the area. It's a corner to the Dane.

Denmark 0-0 England

Denmark's team includes defender Mie Jans who has recently joined Manchester City. She's not had an awful lot to do in the opening exchanges. It's been pretty tame by both teams.
