No Chelsea move for Tuchel

Simon Stone

BBC Sport

A bit of information about one of England's Champions League clubs.

There was a story doing the rounds yesterday that Chelsea had made contact with former Borussia Dortmund coach Thomas Tuchel about replacing Antonio Conte as their manager.

There is a lot of speculation around Conte just now because of Chelsea's troubled summer in the transfer market.

However, BBC Sport understands Chelsea have not approached Tuchel or his agent, nor have they discussed doing so.

Any other business? Yes - Cristiano Ronaldo has been named UEFA Men's Player of the Year 2016-17. Congrats young man.

Paul: Got to want to play the best teams in Europe right? That's why we're here. Spurs vs Real Madrid is MOUTHWATERING!

Dean: I don't understand fans who want easy groups in the Champs League. If that's what you want, then may as well play in the Europa.

Muhammad Owais Khan: Man City will have to work hard if they want to top the group but for once I am delighted we avoided Barca, Real, Bayern, Juventus.

Rachel T: Spurs taking on Real at Wembley. That is what it is ALL ABOUT!

Adam: Typical. The top two English teams get the hardest draws...United scrape through and can walk into the last 16.

Daniel: Liverpool, in theory, have an extremely easy group, but their defence will make hard work of it.

Group H

Last but not least... Apoel Nicosia. And there is only one place for them to go. That is in Tottenham's group.

Group H: Real Madrid, Borussia Dortmund, Tottenham, Apoel

Group A

Manchester United are going back to Moscow... to face CSKA.

Group A: Benfica, Manchester United, Basel, CSKA Moscow

Group E

Maribor... go into Liverpool's group. So that's Spartak Moscow, Sevilla and Maribor for the Reds. GOT to be happy with that?

Celtic in Group B

Celtic will not be playing an English team. But they will be playing Bayern Munich and Paris St-Germain. Oh, and Anderlecht. Good luck Brendan.

Group D

Sporting Lisbon are drawn alongside Juve, Barca and Olympiakos in Group D.

Here's Celtic....

Group F

Short trip on the ferry from Hull for Manchester City fans. You're going to Rotterdam... Feyenoord are the fourth team in Group F.

Group C: Chelsea, Atletico Madrid, Roma, Qarabag.

Group G

First out of Pot Four? German debutants RB Leipzig. They're drawn in Group G with Monaco, Porto and Besiktas. Not a classic group.

Johnny Magrinho: Liverpool have definitely dodged a bullet there! Spurs will do well to get out of their group though..

City to face Napoli

Greek side Olympiakos might as well target third place in their group right now. They're in alongside Juve and Barca.

Napoli, who finished third in Serie A last season, have been stuck in Group F alongside Shakhtar Donetsk. And, of course, Manchester City.

Francesco Totti laughs as he pulls out AS Roma. He's not laughing when Andriy Shevchenko puts them in a group with Chelsea and Atletico Madrid. Ouch.
